Is companies in USA still discriminate SOA general insurance track nowadays? Based on LinkedIn I always see job description for USA general insurance actuarial position with CAS requirement unlike ASIA which is more open that general insurance companies do consider candidate from SOA, IFOA, AI (Australia) etc

Hi Zhi! That’s a great question. It certainly depends on the role and company, but yes generally P&C or General Insurance jobs in the US favor candidates from the CAS over SOA.
