(Abridged) They call it the Academy. Housed in a secluded cliff-top mansion overlooking the rugged Pacific Coast, it is a school for children gifted----or cursed----with extraordinary minds. Children soon to come under the influence of an intelligence even more brilliant than their own---and unspeakably evil. For within this mind, a dark ingenuous plan is taking form. A hellish experiment to probe the limits of the brain using the children of the Academy as its unwilling subjects.
Computer whiz Adam Aldrich lives for his exploration of virtual reality. Lured even deeper into his video fantasy world, he cannot imagine that his reality will soon become a living nightmare. Amy Carlson, serious and shy, is fascinated by human behavior. When she volunteers for an experiment in choice making , she unknowingly narrows her own choices. Will it be suicide, or murder? For Josh MacCallum , brilliant but lonely, Amy's cry for help leads to a knowledge so terrifying, no one will believe him. Not unless he can pit his young mind against an intellect so powerful, so evil, so cunning that nothing can resist its seductive invitation into the shadows. . .
* A Content ID claim is automatically generated when an uploaded video matches another video (or segment of a video) in KZfaq's Content ID system. All of this channel's uploads contain significant and unique edits only known by me. Any copying or reproduction of this channel's content will be promptly reported. Creating these uploads took a lot of time and labor on my part. Seeing other users continually copy, take credit and post my content in part or in it's entirety as their own is extremely frustrating and disappointing. If any channel subscriber or random viewer notices any of my content appearing on other channels I would strongly encourage you to please report it to KZfaq as well. Thank you!
The majority of these audiobooks, which were converted from audio cassette tapes into digital Mp3 files are over 30 years old. Some of the cassette tapes had to be taken apart and spliced back together, which can be a very delicate procedure. Just a little something I thought I would do so I could salvage these particular works and share these with others before the tapes and tape players deteriorated completely and before the world of analog recording becomes completely obsolete. Most are not true books because they are abridgements. When I first started collecting these audiobooks, unabridged books on tape were either very rare or extremely costly. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit.
