I decided to make a change to my soapmaking process. I always use the heat transfer method. I have started to melt the butter then stick blend the room temperature oils together before adding the lye and water solution because in the winter when it was cooler, I was having trouble getting all of the bits of the butters or the hard oils to melt. This is my new procedure.
