It took me eight years to get my Bachlors degree, because of switching majors a lot. But anyway...I usually didn't have luck making friends unless I was talking to people who majored in the same thing or... hung out with a friend of a friend and we hung out as a group A few times I did approach random kids eating alone and they were cool with me sitting and tlaking to them in the cafeteria.
