he really is creative, especially when it comes to writing lyrics, even koreans have a hard time to understand his unique expression. Actually the time when this video released, around that time han had social anxiety, he even took a little break to group activities. I felt so upset because i have social anxiety too, but now thankfully he feels better and i’m happy for him

Han is honestly the most interesting member to me, for the longest time I’ve always thought he was extroverted and outgoing as hell but that was because all the videos I’ve seen of him were with his members. When I saw videos of him alone or with strangers he seems very timid and almost more serious. He’s the kind of person that seems quite or unfriendly at first, and it’s hard to break into his barrier, but when you do he treasures you dearly and it feels special because he handpicks who he’s comfortable with. He reminds of Suga from BTS, it’s almost like they have a barrier put up for strangers as a sort of defense mechanism and only a few people have access inside that barrier where they can truly be comfortable and themselves.

When i just got in to stray kids i found out that for a while han couldn’t attend fan meetings/ group projects due to his social anxiety what suprised me because he didn’t seem like someone who would be affected by that. But it visibly effected him. He had support from his members and company what was a good thing.

Han can be sensitive sometimes. He recently explained that he was meant to meet with Changbin to work on music, but was 20 minutes late so he thought Changbin was mad at him. Then he got there, Changbin wasn't mad but he Han felt bad and "cried like a 5 year old" in front of Changbin and some people there were working with 😭😭

i think han was definitely meant to be a star - despite his shy persona, he truly shines onstage and on camera when he’s with his members. he’s also been very open about his struggles with anxiety, which i really appreciate, but he’s incredibly passionate about making music and performing so i honestly couldn’t imagine him doing anything else. i wasn’t expecting this reaction but thank you for doing it!!! i still hope to see you check out the rest of the one kids room series.

Bang Chan, Changbin and Han seem to be the ones with extraverted intuition, at least on a high level. They are very very self-aware, but they always do everything for the group first and then themselves. The interesting part is that they are also the brain of the operation, they are the producers, composers and song-writers of the group. However, Han I think really is the most introverted one, and kind of the most insecure one. You are right. He should believe in himself more. They don't call him the ace of 4th gen. k-pop for nothing:)

I didn't know I had so much in common with Han, I have social anxiety and definitely relate to a lot of what he said. It's so hard putting on a persona to hide nervousness or anxiety. When I have to talk about my experience with something to a group, I get super introspective and say things that might seem too emotional or personal to say. I feel like it's not professional but it's the only way I know to communicate. My thoughts are deeply connected to my emotional experiences. I know Suga had a form of social phobia too. It's comforting seeing people who have similar characteristics as you become successful. It reminds you that this condition can't stop you from going after your dreams.

If you think he's a star based on interviews then you should see him on stage. Confidently rapping and dancing on stage comes naturally to him, he's an energetic and passionate performer. On the other hand, during his solo livestreams he's so soft spoken and calm. both sides are genuine parts of who he is and I've never felt like he's trying to put on a persona.

If you really want to see Han's awkwardness shine through, there's this cute video from a survival show Stray Kids went on, and Han did a one on one talk with Minhyuk from BTOB.

Han is so relatable for me, I'm pretty good and kinda loud with people I'm comfortable with but if I'm somewhere I'm alone I'm so quite and little shy

Han Jisung really is such a bright star, it made me smile so much when you said that. He himself has said before that while crowds and fanmeetings make him anxious, nothing about actually performing on stage does. He loves his job and is a genius writer, i think he was born for it ❤

Han is special in so many ways. We are so lucky to have him. I always admire and appreciate all his efforts as a stray kids member. But like you said we really just want him to be himself. Not feel forced to be someone he is not or someone everyone else (or the industry) expects him to be. Changbin once said that han is the little brother( or member) whom he thinks the most about and wants him to always be happy. I wholeheartedly agree with this. I wish we can always protect his smile. We know his personality and how sensitive he can be. He is someone who needs a lot care and encouragement bc we know he can shine. I am really happy though to know that he is in stray kids and that he is in the best hands with his members. They are there for each other no matter what. That’s golden. It’s amazing to see how they grow as people and as team members bc it shows how they are genuinely close and that their relationship goes beyond that of work and being in a group. Ty!

Han is an ISTP, they aren’t too good at expressing their emotions and tend to bottle things up. They are also very pragmatic people.

This is the video I was waiting th most!!! Hannie is really unique person. He is so kind and cheerful, but also he is a deep thinker with a rich inner life. Once he had an anxiety and was on hiatus( And his vlogs represent all introverts` life and he always tries to go out to make his videos more interesting, but we, his fans, don`t stop saying him that all of us happy to see him at home, if he wanna be there having a rest. We just happy if he and other members are happy) By the way, Han is amazing not only because of his personality but also because of his talents. Their company provides mental health supports to the artists, which is a good thing and not many agency company in the industry do. It is one of the reasons why Han knows about his own conditions. Most Stray Kids fans also know about this. Han is happy and expressive when he's in the 'safe environment' surrounded by people he's comfortable with. But, there are a lot of footages showing how uncomfortable he could get in a completely new environment. Even during tours. I think he sometimes gets panic attack or at least anxiety problem, especially when they have to go through a mass of people in airports. This usually doesn't show when he's on stage, but as some fancams would show, apparently at some cases it would. I've seen one footage where their managers would be on standby behind the sound speakers where Han could see them at any given time as the group performed on stage. Knowing his struggles truly give a new perspective and appreciation on how hard these kpop artists to continue working and expressing themselves in a healthy way.

This video showed me that I relate to Han more then any other member. This is very eye opening to see myself in someone else. The only difference is I can fake it. People who I am not close to will think I am this big personality but really I am more introverted. I have a hard time making friends because it take alot for me trust people. I do have social anxiety but I manage it well. I do not like being around people I do not know very well and I would rather be at home. lol I am working on changing that but it is difficult. I do not think I will completely change but I do want to be more open to people.

I love Han's personality

Han is very relatable for me. I was always told I had a very big imagination (much like Han) and not everyone would get what I was doing/saying and I didn't want to share my ideas as much. When I developed social anxiety, I was still a very social person but I was scared to talk to people, even people I already knew. But now that I have a better handle of my social anxiety, I am more social (even though I'm nervous) and expressive. Han is great having around because I feel like I fit in more.

It's very funny to see this description of Han, because at first he caught my attention for his funny, lively and even confident personality When I discovered this side of him as I researched, I was genuinely surprised, but it only brought me closer. I am a socially anxious person, and seeing his accounts makes me realize how much we have in common and how much I identify with him. He's cozy, you know? Because he doesn't put up a facade, he just is. He feels more comfortable in certain situations and naturally the more outgoing part of him takes over, and that's exactly how I feel. Seeing this in an idol is extremely interesting, and as I said, welcoming. Han is naturally captivating, you can't get to know stray kids and not be enchanted by all his personality traits.

But for sure he is such a sweet and extra chaotic guy when he is with his members. As someone who also has anxiety (mostly social + just general) it makes me feel better to know that you can be as successful as Han even if you have anxiety. It's nice how understanding the fans are to his situation ^^

He's such a strong person, definitely a star. I suffer from social anxiety and it's tough but Han is definitely strong and his efforts are very laudable.

i think maybe part of why han has trouble socializing is because he moved to malaysia when he was around 9/10 yrs old and only went to school there for about a year before switching to being home-schooled for the rest of his schooling, before he moved back to korea to become a kpop trainee. i believe he has said he didn’t have many friends in malaysia and spent most of his free time alone or with his older brother.

Something really interesting that i’d like you to know about Han is that when he was a trainee, he used to be really arrogant and full of himself. He said he thought of himself as better than everyone else. It was said that Hyunjin was really annoyed by him bc of this. However, when Changbin joined the company and became friends with Han, his arrogance and fake modesty disappeared :)

I love Stray Kids but I knew nothing about them as individuals. I am so surprised about Han’s introversion and social anxiety. As you point out, he has so much charisma and you can see that he is unique and a real talented superstar. Very interesting. Han and Changbin are my favourite members. You can feel their energy in a video! It’s amazing.

I just watched the new 2 rooms with Han and Bang Chan and can see a more confident Han Han is such a great warm person and I feel he loves knowledge and he is more an emotional person even though he does not show it. And why he is so good and writing and composing songs and lyrics.

Definitely really amazing to see how far Han has come with his social anxiety when i first got into stray kids i didn't realise he had those anxieties as most of the compilations were him being outgoing or making jokes so seemed extremely extroverted (only thing i new was he had a phobia of heights like lee know and myself i have that so defs could relate literally can't go on plans without a panic attack :/) but then stumbled upon a compilation or vid a few years back that explained he had anxiety which had clips at fan meetings, some interviews or when having to move through crowds it was shocking as it was quite severe and i wish they got him off stage at those ones sooner like the interview and not made him sit through it as he was shaking. But i think this was very very early days and once they established he had the anxiety thankfully their team seemed to provide him more breaks at fan meetings or leave from some i saw. But honestly whether he has naturally grown more confident and comfortable or got extra support to work through it im so proud as current interviews or performances/fan meetings he is centre stage, laughing joking leading conversations. As someone who also has those difficult social anxieties where it takes me a while to be comfortable with new people or situations its really cool to see artists that you admire overcome/be able to manage their struggles and additionally talk openly about it like honestly one of the biggest reasons i follow skz as all the members do either express themselves so well through their content or music or hobbies :)

Han is VERY sensitive. He talked recently on vlive abt how he went to the recording room 20 minutes late, Changbin had been in there working for a while so he spoke to Han with a tired voice and even tho Han knew Changbin wasn't angry at him or anything he just felt a little hurt and started sobbing 😭😭 he was laughing at himself while talking abt this story tho and said that another person in the room told him afterwards that it's the first time they've seen a guy in his 20s cry like that bc he was sobbing and gasping like a 5 year old.

Han is the most relatable idol I have seen and this video made me realize that. I think he just operates the same way I do tbh.

Han actually didn't participate in activities that included a large group of people for some time. At the ending of 2019 and start of 2020. The company realesed a statement saying Han had been diagnosed with some anxiety disorder, which i believe is social anxiety. But luckily he's doing much better now :).

It's nice to see that a few people can relate to Han, me as well as someone who's really shy and suffered from social anxiety. I would have never thought that he is an introvert when I first saw him on different shows. He's always so funny and loud on shows so it's really admirable that he is trying very hard to get out of his shell. I can't put on a persona and mostly stay quiet.

He struggling with anxiety, but when he is on the stage or in a performance, he totally crazy about it. The duality really freak me out sometime.

I can relate to Han a lot so I knew instantly that he was an introverted guy. I also tend to stay in bed and watch videos about psychology and other sorts of documentaries but we also behave the same socially. I can't know for sure since this is based on my experience, but I would say his natural habitat is being on his own, letting his imagination and creativity flow. But once he is with close ones, his charismatic and funny side automatically, without thinking, comes through, yes it takes a lot of energy but this is the way he knows how to communicate. I even think it is because he is naturally socially anxious, that he has a tendency to make jokes and don't take himself too seriously so that the tension he is more sensitive to lessens.

talking about jisung being nervous around new people reminded me of the prank MUPLY pulled on Stray Kids, it would be really interesting to see you react to it! basically the prank was their manager getting arrested under the suspicion of sajaegi (music chart manipulation), they pranked each member individually and "interrogated" them and the whole thing is just really interesting lol

When u said maybe Han is just not interested in people I think u were mostly right bc in one of the episodes of their series 2 Kids Room someone(inforgot who) mentioned that jisung doesn’t care about human affairs e.g someone calls out in suprise and jumps around instead of asking „oh what happened?“ he just acknowledges it with a „hm“ and moves on. So I think by saying he isn’t interested u weren’t wrong

I have social anxiety [+GAD] & I relate so much to Han & also have so much respect for him. I did theater for a year in middle school & even that much performing was tough for me. He's so talented & I'm so proud of him for not letting his anxiety get in the way (even if he doesn't have any anxiety disorder, it does seem like he's struggling at times).

I've really enjoyed your Stray Kids reaction videos! I find your commentary very insightful and I love seeing you getting to know them better over time. Thank you so much for taking the time to react and post these videos!!! I also wanted to suggest a group which is gaining fans quickly - it's a band (an instrument one, rather than a dance group) called LUCY. What's really neat is they formed on a survival show with other musicians called Superband, and as someone who doesn't normally like those kinds of shows at all, it was really interesting and refreshing because it was all very friendly. Watching talented musicians with a massive variety in their background communicate and work together was so fascinating! They're still close with a lot of the other contestants on that show, and the groups that came together as a result of the show ended up being really unique groups of people. For example, the winning group has a classically trained cellist who's like 15 years older than their youngest member. No pressure of course! As someone who stans just two groups wanted to at least mention it since I would so love to see you react to my other fave, and I know about 100 others from a discord server who would also really enjoy it! Either way, I'm really looking forward to your next SKZ reaction as well!

Some childish fans made negative comments about Han..He is racist ,he doesn't like foreigners, he is mean he is rude. They confuse social anxiety with hate or dislike.. oh my God! I hope he can deal with anxiety and gets cure 😢😭
