That's another thing, why would your neighbor know that you're on SSA disability? Thats something you best keep to yourself. If you're receiving an actual check and live in a multi family unit or building Where your letters can get. Where letters can get mixed up. I say get a Post office Box no one, outside of your close family and maybe friends, key word maybe, no one should really know your business

@@Ephemeral2023 it is everyone's business that pays taxes and social security. To much fraud in system. Folks drawing a check who really isn't disabled. If you need it fine. Nothing to hide. If you don't really need it be sneaky and hide the fact your on disability. Looks suspicious when you hide things. Like I said . The only ones worried about hiding disability checks from neighbors probably really aren't disabled.

My neighbor in the late 1970’s was investigated for carrying grocery bags that were heavier than her supposed limit. She was told she had to pay all her benefits back. She moved soon after so I don’t know her actual outcome but it didn’t look good. I now have SSDI for over 13 yrs & I’m absolutely terrified to leave my home because I was there when they did that to her as a child. I’m afraid to go shopping or even go to the bank. This video makes me feel a bit better, but I’m still terrified as I write this. Thanks for the video!

as someone who applied for severe anxiety disorders and ocd (amongst other mental health issues) this info scares the HELL out of me! i rarely leave my home anyway, but i’m extremely anxious & paranoid about being watched in my own house. i keep track of neighborhood activity regularly and im compulsively checking outside for weird cars/vans now. ah i wish i hadn’t learned they surveilled people physically 😅

What if you " put on a mask" to be in public? I have to wear shades and put on headphones to feel like im hiding in plain sight. And if i get nervous i have to move. Draw, tap, anything that allows me to secretly vent my nerves. Will they see that when i go out in public? Will they see me trying to have control or will they just see me out and think nothing is wrong? Also what about work? I struggle with work. But i have very little outside support so sometimes i have to find work. And it just doesn't work out. Will they see that as not being mentally disabled? (PTSD, severe depression and anxiety)

Anybody watching would see me limping, struggling and moving slowly. My arthritis is off the charts , no lie . Could they really take away my benefits for 4 hours a week? It is a trade situation so I guess it's considered under the table. This scares me but the benefits just aren't enough already!

So people need to realize that social security pays these people less than minimum wage and the only benefit to SSD is getting medical insurance because of their astronomical bills because they're sick. We have so little trust for SS that we're afraid to about do anything with, so if you ask a question how are they going to take that, if you try to go to work, are you suddenly cured. We recently had the survey and a relative said, you can send it in online, so now do they take it that you can get a job operating a computer. If they had medicare for all and let all these people go to work without limitations and supplemented them , and call it a win when somebody was able to totally take care of themselve. Then some of the lawyers we run into to include ours, The act like all that backpay is some lottery win, when it's less than minimum wage that they didn't get for in our cats 4 years and a relative had to give them a place to live and finance them for those years. He was giddly with us sitting across from him saying he could get $10k for ours.

They need to be investigating folks. Ssdi is the easiest way to get a check for life. I know someone who is has it for being a slow learner yet he works out at gym everyday, joined a biker gang and bought two Harleys with his back money. I also know someone who works and deer hunts harder than anyone but he gets it for his back. Climbs trees, drags deer and works in his taxidermy shop. Makes $500 a deer and gets 100s of deer every season. Thats why I think most ssdi chasers are either losers or the leeches of society. I know some are deserving but so many are not.

I understand your concern and confusion. When you reach your full retirement age, which is 66 for people born between 1943 and 1954, your Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits automatically convert to retirement benefits, but the amount remains the same. This change is in name only and does not mean that your disability has disappeared or that the Social Security Administration believes your condition has improved. It's simply a shift in how Social Security categorizes your benefits once you reach the full retirement age. To learn more about how age affects your benefits, you can watch this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o6mRmd2XxLWpeYU.html. Remember, if you have any more questions or need further clarification, we're here to help.
