This is not correct - All information below is confirmed in sims. 1. Mental Dexterity is currently the BiS helm rune. You will want to dual wield weapons with less than 1.5s speed on them (currently using gizmo blade and hypnotic blade) and melee weave. I'm currently using /start attack macros for FS and ES to ensure there is a melee hit during the 1.5s global CD after instant casts. This ensures you get a melee hit every 10 sec and 100% MD uptime. While MD is active, I currently have 100+ SP for those 10 seconds. 2. Chain lightning does not scale with SP the same way Lightning Bolt does so you should not be casting CL unless there are 2+ targets. Additionally, LB has a 50% overload proc chance, while CL only has 17% chance 3. Since you will be in melee range most of the time, there is no point in putting talent points into Storms Reach. Allocating those points into Thundering Strikes is currently simming the highest Aside from being in melee range and using the /start attack macros, the play style is basically the same as previous phases. It feels a bit off being in melee range and casting, but this is currently simming the highest unless they make changes to the MD rune which is entirely possible.

Do you use wizard oils for SP, or Rockbiterx2 for more AP for SP Scaling? Thanks in advance, Edit: I did some testing myself and rockbiter added 29 SP, so double Wizard Oil would just be better ya?

@@davidknight7371 Good Question - I'm still using dual oils. Dual RB can be viable if you didn't want to use oils in normal five mans etc, but I believe dual oils will give you the most overall sp.

Elemental fury doesn't "double the already double crit damage". Before Elemental Fury, a crit does 150% dmg. After you get it, a crit does 200%.

Wouldn't overcharge be a better choice? Along with mental dex. Use a start attack macro along with flame shock to melee in the GCD following that cast for extra spell dmg for 10s. I'm an enhance though. But to me that seems like the play. Overcharged is just way too good damage

Overcharged doesn’t seem to work unless you have aggro, but I would agree the way it’s written in game seems it would be better adding like 200 dps with every second rather than a 30% percent chance additional shield charge that u have to keep track of and then use earth shock

Does flameshock work like in retail? YOu can cast lava burst into a flameshock

if your talking about casting a lava burst then hitting flame shock before the lava burst reaches the enemy, no. Unfortunately you have to flame shock first for it to auto crit

When burst is done casting it checks if it’s a resist then if flame shock is on target then it’s a crit bc classic is coded on spell batching versus retail which checks on hit bc there is no resisting or missing spells, however the overload would crit if you flame shock after lava burst bc overload is checked after hit oddly it could be written differently if they cared enough

Rolling Thunder is a purse shit rune, impossible to stack up to 9 stacks with such a low %. Overloads not working/ chain jumps as well has 0% to gain additional stack :D ele in this phase is dead class, just use riptide and survive, that's all u can do in a raid. our DPS is awful.

? If u stack up to 9 before pull it’s good, and it’s easy to stack up too during fight you could get another 9 stack. Although I agree ele damage is bad this phase, mostly a melee phase they’re even forcing ele to be in melee range if they made elemental mastery crit for 10 seconds of spell casting it would be on par with melee at least a little bit
