You can "lean around corners" by standing close to a corner and aiming. This is not a "cover-based shooter", so there is no cover stance, but the game will recognize when you are "behind cover" (obscured from unaware enemies view by large enough objects or obstacles) and if close enough to the edge of "cover" you can aim (with weapon or not) to lean out, or peek. This will also work when scanning from cover for stealth hacking.

Honestly i believe that was the OG intention. "There's no good ending in Night City" isn't a quote for nothing. So it'd have fit. But honestly i don't think it works in the final product. Jackie now fills the roll of what happens to most in night city. You can dream all you want but in the end your nothing most the time. But yeah i totally think ORIGINALLY he was ment to betray us. But it most definitely ended up with him being the gold hearted character we all know and love.

Definitely a game that requires more attention to details. Corpo V's start is littered with information shard that provides more insight into NC and Arasaka backstory. Even the some ads and TV provides insight to the story if you don't get ADHD and just watch them for a minute.

The story is good, but what really makes this game amazing - like the Witcher 3 - is the exploration and world design. Doing all the side missions and piecing together bits and pieces and immersing yourself in Night City's dystopian culture. Also the soundtrack and art fucking rocks.

nomad is a boring zero to hero like in every game. corpo is you go from rich dude to a nobody but with connections and experience and slowly become somebody while getting rid of your corpo ex-coworkers

I’m absolutely in love with this game! Sure it had a very rocky start and sure it does still crash and have bugs but man this game is insane! I’ve never spent over 100 hours playing a game let alone 100 hours in 1 save file but this game makes those 100 hours feel like 20 and I’m going back to do it all again! Looking forward to watching soda play and make some… less than satisfactory choices… but will still be nice to see!

I have purchased this game 4 different times.. and every time I get to like the second quest and game crashes has never let me get past the same spot in game. this has been over a years I will purchase play and end up getting a refund because of crashes. my last attempt was 2 months ago. same issue. never had issue with a game like this.

With choices I made in the game, I got 3 endings I really hated, complete horrendous endings - suicide one and 2 Arasaka space station endings. Severely disappointed in the endings...

Bought it 3 weeks ago and dropped it. About 75% of the fem wardrobe are variations on coloured overalls while the population is walking about in all sorts of gear. It stinks of DEI in an earlier incarnation. No 3PP in a game where it stresses your "look" yet you can only see your toon when you jump on a bike? No torch. I completely lost all orientation in one room and didn't know if I was even looking at the floor. Had to close game and mod a light/torch into it. To say it's set in "sin city" the fem avatar is "uninspiring". That chick in Stellar blade is beating the snot out of anything you could create in here and it's still got many bugs and a big payout to a RL movie star that should have been spent on the coding. It's okay, nowhere near great. Her voice acting is it's biggest plus.
