I think it’s extremely disrespectful! The fact that people think this is okay is bizarre because I would never say that to a coworker, friend or a random person. She gets away with it because she’s Latina! She would of been cancelled if she spoke to bLK person like that

I absolutely find her accent unique and awesome. Being proud of your heritage gives a sense of assurance and stability. So to me Sofia is amazing. Ellen is a bit mean here quite unlike her self. Never found Ellen mean.

Sofia's accent makes her special and unique. In fact, many people like her for that ( among other things, of course)....besides, she's smart and can stand Ellen very gracefully in all her encounters with Ellen.

Finally a smart comment. I have always seen Sofía and Ellen as very good friends, these are the things they talk about during the show, in front of the public, just to make a joke, but I am pretty sure that behind the cameras Ellen is not making fun of her accent and they talk about other things, it is so obvious it is just part of the show 😊
