Sofitel Dubai Downtown: Luxury Room, Luxury Stay

Episode two of our Moneymoon Adventure takes us to Sofitel Dubai Downtown where we had a fantastic 3 night stay. We arrived after a pleasant taxi ride from the airport but we were too early to check into our room. Fortunately Linda had access to Club Millesime thanks to her platinum membership so we chilled out there until our room was ready.
We originally booked the Luxury King Room for about $225 AUD per night (~611 AED) but we got upgraded to a better room facing the Burj Khalifa, so thank you Sofitel!
During our stay we took a dip in the pool, and enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast every day, but Tommy didn't check out the So Fit gym because walking the mall was exercise enough! One other thing we did not film was the great service provided by the concierge and staff, who helped direct us around where to go and what to do nearby.

Love the window view,the chair and the pool. And also, the buffet breakfast selections look great.

Free upgrade should be a suite and not a dump. These couple has a tank in their stomach, they beat a lot.

Guess you didn't get the kind of upgrade your neighbor got. Anyways great video lots of energy. My wife and I planning our honeymoon in Dubai and plan to fly 1st class emirates like you guys from the US.

this feels like another of this paid-for publicity testimonials - as the real experience at this hotel is nowhere near good - torn and stained bath towels at the pool, 20 minutes wait to get a drink in the lounge on the 51st club lounge, staff that cannot find your luggage for half of the day, beds that don't get made unless you complain (again and again)

I wish we were paid to do this vid, but alas we paid out of our own pocket to stay here. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, this vid was from our stay back in 2019 and we had a good time back then.
