Yeah I think so. Though in the later portions of the video there was a hook. Now to be fair, I was trying to keep the camera up off the bottom a bit so as not to abuse it too much.

I switched from eggs to Beads on the Togiak about 5-6 years ago for kings and have never looked back. They don’t swallow them and I think they fish as well or better than eggs for some reason. I like the BnR Sweet Pink Cherry 25mm

I have but I fish beads differently than most in that I use a much smaller hook and thus lose very few fish. But because of that small hook I need to peg it so the hook still has some “bite” to it.

@fishwithjd I'm just getting into the beads and I was planning on float fishing them and decided on running size 4 hooks. There's guys running 1/0 with this setup but I think th 4's are less intimidating in low clear water. I know with the large beads I'll have to peg them above the hook but I was thinking about just running the smaller beads on the hook.

Yeah that’s a big bead for a fish with a notoriously small mouth. I guess that just shows the effectiveness of em.

Well it depends on water clarity but I like 16-20 mm Sweet Pink Cherry from BnR Tackle for steelies and 20-25mm for coho (same color)
