INGREDIENTS:
165 g (3/4 cup)butter, softened
165 g (3/4 cup)sugar
165 g (1 1/2 cup)all flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 eggs, room temperature
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
METHOD:
* sift together, flour, salt and baking powder
* beat together butter and sugar until well combined.
* add eggs, one at a time.
* add vanilla essence, mix
* add dry ingredients in 3 portions with milk
* pour batter in loaf pan, tap to remove air bubbles
* bake first 20 minutes on low-medium flame
* bake 45-50 minutes on low flame
* bake for 20-25 minutes at 350f (180 c)

I prepared this cake today morning by following the recipe as is. Here is the result. 1. The cake puffed up quite well 2. The aroma of the cake was far better than what I get from the bakery. 3. The texture was smooth and soft as silk, I baked the cake for 55 min and it was baked to perfection. Last but not the least, the taste, which was fabulous, it just melted in the mouth. Thank you Huma for sharing this recipe. I don't fear baking anymore. 😊

Ass slam o allaikum.. I made this reciepe today my husband and kids love it.... I used stand mixer for mixing all reciepe together and second cook in oven 25 minutes on 350 Fahrenheit and then 15 minutes on 330 Fahrenheit ... it was amazing,, delicious ,,fully cooked soft ,,buttery,, thank you so much

One of my daughters favourite cake ... I bake this almost every other week ... too good recipe ... just an observation .. when I tried baking this in the oven in the time you have mentioned the centre remained uncooked .. tried it twice like that and both the times was the same problem then I had to steam it in the stove top for 15-20 minutes and was done perfectly ... but now I prefer to do on the stove top only ..but again a very tasty and easy recipe ... tried many other butter cake recipes but This is the best

@@asifahafeez4828 i put the same cake tin in the empty vessel with a stand and bake it on low flame same as shown on the video … but I would suggest you do directly on the stovetop as seen in the video

I tried this recepie and the taste was awesome. I tried it in oven so according to my experience, 180• is a very high temperature. Baking at 120• for 25-30min worked really well for me👍🏻
