Shampoo/product tip for soft natural: If you want to have shiny hair sometimes, go for natural-looking healthy shine, not glossy artificial. I'm sn and I like shine shampoos that are clear looking instead of thick creamy glossy kind because the clear shine shampoo gives that clean, shines-in-the-sun look without looking ornate or heavy. I don't like an artificial manicured shine cast covering each strand. Otherwise more matte is good

I must be some type of natural, but I didn't understand why I looked so good on fantasy hair colors (specifically a medium blue tone)... Now I remember I always needed to wear a stronger/more contrasted make up with that hair, otherwise my face disappeared! 😅

Great video! I’m some sort of natural, but not sure which. I have made ALL of the color mistakes and most of the hair cut/style mistakes. I wore my hair short for YEARS, and am now allowing it to grow, and no longer coloring at all. I just feel more like an authentic version of me!

I struggled so much finding my bodytype because I'm really soft but not as soft as R or TR- I'm short and have childish features but I don't fit in gamine family so after all searches etc. I finally found it 😃 I'm a soft natural and my body looks more like shakira and I would say everything she wears or does with her hair that suits me too so I do kinda copy her look 😂

Scarlett Johansson and Katy Perry are the epitomes of soft natural. They look best as they are. The more they try something new, it just looks ridiculous on them. Like a Halloween costume. Also on the red carpet. Less is more. Especially Scarlett had some „no-no“ dresses.

I know that Katy Perry was verified as an SN by Kibbe a while ago, but taking into consideration her height (5'7"), she's too tall to be one. I believe she's FN. I don't really see her as an SN.

@@martaxo1625 height alone is no sole reason to be FN. Height and width together are to consider. Optic and the yin-Yang balance. She is a beautiful SN.

@@dianagyuro2640 it actually is - there are only upper height limits meaning if you're 5'7" and up you can only be 3 types (FN, SD, Pure D) and Kibbe is super strict about it.

@@martaxo1625 But she doesn't look 5'7 and doesn't have the strong vertical line which is required for an FN. I've never met a FN, SD or D who I couldn't spot immediately and Katy Perry doesn't give those vibes AT ALL. I think she's in the right camp.

The thing for me is that I'm a Bright Winter and a Soft Natural. Anything ashy, pastel, "soft", or similar makes me look washed out. I thought I was a Deep Winter for a while, but the colors aren't bright enough. I also wear optical white or ivory well; white and bright purple are the colors I have received most compliments while wearing. As for hair, of all colors I've dyed it (and I have had quite the journey) the times I received most compliments were when it was bright blue, midnight black, champagne blonde, and a honey brown tint (which is a similar hue to my eyes) that I haven't been able to re-create for a while now. All and all, my natural brown hair makes me look more washed out. I also do well with more masculine haircuts than overly feminine ones; it translates to clothes too, because my shoulders are very broad, my chest very small, and I have some muscle definition. However, the rules about not going for anything overly structured and hair past chin still works for me. Things like that make me wonder if I am a SN at all, because I don't ever feel good in any of the trademark looks. I feel most comfortable with dramatic or classic vibes for looks, or at least "aesthetics".

Besides I fit on the Soft Gamine category, I don’t feel the vibes. I prefer much more soft natural, but I struggle to find my signature look unless I allow myself just to be as God made me, no alterations.

If you're following Kibbe, I believe the new parameters say vertical starts at 5'6" and you're 5'7" so that leaves just Dramatic, Flamboyant Natural, or Soft Dramatic for you :)

I'm a taller SN. At 5'8 I thought for months I was an FN and wore those clothing recommendations but they looked hideous on me because I lacked any waist emphasis. The moment I started dressing like an SN, I started getting so many compliments and felt beautiful. I don't have every single feature that makes up an SN, but I can't deny I don't look good in the lines. Proportion matters way more than just height.

There's definitely people that fit a body type to a t but in certain cases when that doesn't happen it causes confusion because I think people are to attached to the general characteristics of the type and treating like it's a check list and if you don't check all boxes you're not that type I've discovered the ecences typing and I think it's really cool like people can have multiple ecences and you can tap into them in chosing your clothes instead of only relying on your kibbe type.
