I love how you pointed out that our response to our spouse is to accept them the way that they are like the Holy Spirit does, but allow the Holy Spirit to do the work. Marriage is challenging indeed, but love covers a multitude of faults. ❤

Thank you, all for your comments. Praying for these requests. We went through some difficult times in our family a few years back and felt the Lord taught us how to pray through that situation. We would encourage you all to seek the Lord for his pathway of healing for your marriages, how to pray and for his wisdom for you and your specific situation. He is a personal God, and is there for us to give wisdom when we ask.

This describes my ex spouse to a t unfortunately mine ended in divorce after 27 years and 2 children. Devastating. I was discarded like a piece of trash. Indescribable.

I’m in a similar situation with almost 27 years of marriage and three kids. I think our marriage has been pretty amazing, not perfect but truly blessed for sure. Is indescribable, on imaginable that I could be fighting for my marriage. My wife walked out with the three kids over six months ago and had me served like a criminal when I’ve been a very good dad and husband. I continue to pray. I continue to stand, even when I can’t think I can stand any longer, and keep on believing and claiming every scripture that God will save my marriage. I hope all is going well for you now. I’ve listened to many people that have gotten divorced, and then God restored their marriage. I’m not sure where you’re at right now, but I hope God is leading you. And you are accepting his will for your life.

Please pray for my husband Jeremy. He has bipolar disorder and is in a very dark place. He has become bitter and angry. He has been saying he wants to give up on life. He is a believer but he has quit going to church and reading the Bible. He says he can no longer hear Gods voice and is lost. He's making financial mistakes that are concerning me. We have a young son who needs his daddy to be okay again. Please pray for him. Thank you for your prayers ♡

My spouse's heart is hardened. He started an affair with an older widowed woman. He moved in with her. Abandoned his wife and children. Enjoyed your message though. Praying for my salvation and for my husband. It will take a miracle and God to save my marriage. .

This is on my rewind playlist. Thank you for this. This is what I have been feeling. Sometimes it is quite hard to forgive. Although, I have forgiven yesterday. It is hurtful when someone neglects you and the other party just shuts down. Thanks for the point of view. Pls. pray for me and my husband John. For his heart to soften. I pray unto God im a broken 💔 man. My wife is in an affair and wants a divorce, She is a Christian but over the years has fallen away from Jesus. My Heart yearns for my wife to come back to God and be Cleansed by the holy blood of Jesus Christ. Label me cynical and jaded. I had a little chuckle over the statement "be happy with where we are and what we have right now" as I look around the house I provide for my family but treated like a garbage bin by my lovely wife with boxes of stuff filling up entire rooms and so much junk on the floor of the bedroom I can't even walk to my side of the bed. Basically 27 years of that [insert bad word here].

What if you couldn’t sacrifice because you were depressed due to losing a parent and unknown health issues. Health issues have been fixed but he hastily filed for divorce after telling me that he thinks I’m miserable. I went back to the church and found me again. I have unconditional love for him. He won’t even talk to me. How do I help the situation?

We encourage you to find a good church to connect and get support and spend time in God’s word and in prayer just developing relationship with Him. He’s the Healer and Comforter.

It’s so difficult when someone we love has a hard heart, and we’re so sorry for those facing this. There are multiple options. They’re offended for a reason, and we can work to soften the heart and resolve it; we could live as roommates; or we could walk away. This video is for those who choose to attempt to repair a broken relationship.

The content you share is good but, it is definitely not a one size fits all. If you have begged and pleaded with your spouse for years to get help and they refuse and they continue to be controlling, abusive and destructive I feel the marriage vows have been broken. There is a great difference between a difficult marriage and a destructive marriage. Sometimes the best thing you can do is leave and get to a safe place. Jesus does not want anyone to be abused.

Yes agreed, it doesn’t fit all situations! Check out the video about boundaries with ideas when someone is crossing lines and consider a counselor to help develop a safety plan for specific and more complex situations.
