Wow. I had a heart broken situation couple fo days ago. I have been successfully going through all the interview stages in two companies in Dublin, Ireland. One company didn't select me and the other informed me that their work visas are over. I can't get over with that but after I watched this videos I am not the only one faced this situation. Thank you for sharing your experience. I think I feel better now. Start from scratch once again. Defenetely need to follow Cracking Code Interviews book. Hope to follow your every video.

මම දැන් software Ingineering Intern එකක් කරන්නේ(6 months, Technologies: Angular ,Spring Boot). ඔය කිව්ව හැම ගොන් වැඩක්ම කළා(description කියවන්නේ නැතුම් හැම එකටම apply කල, එකම cover letter, cv එක අව්ල්). ඉටපසසේ ටිකක් හිතල description කියවල ඒ ඉල්ලන දේවල් වලට Skills හදාගෙන company ටිකක් තෝරගෙන apply කරලා සතියෙන් interview අවා. ඇත්තටම එද්දී මම angular දන්නේ නැහෙ. කොහොම හරි chatGPT එක්ක එයාල දෙන task එදාට complete කරනවා. ඒ ගමන්ම angular ඉගෙන ගන්නවා. දෙන් Associat Software Ingineering වලට මාස 3කට කලින් ready වෙන්න හිතුවා. මොකද මම ගොඩක් දේවල් දන්නේ නැහෙ හදාගන්න ඕනි කාලය අරගෙන. (කිව්ව දේවල් ගොඩක් පිං: blog ,stack overflow,project,recomendation) 1.Associat Software Ingineering වලට වෙන රටකට apply කරන්න පුලුවන්ද? පුලුවන්නම් video එකක් කරන්නකෝ ඒ ගෙන

I'm bored with my work in SL as well and I have faced the same issue as you with most Sri Lankan Companies focusing on Technologies rather than Software Engineering Skills. ඒක රඳා පවතින්නේ ජොබ් එක අනුව. එහෙම පිට රටවල් වල ඉඳන් කරන්න පුළුවන් ජොබ් වර්ග තියෙනවා. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට ඒවාට කියන්නේ freelance jobs කියලා. ඒවා ගැන මම ඉස්සරහට කතා කරන්නම්.

අයියේ ඔයාගේ speech එකේ හැම තත්පරයක්ම බොහොම ආසාවෙන් අහන් හිටියේ. දිගටම videos කරන්න. ඔයාට jobs වලට apply කරද්දි තිබුණ paper colifications මොනවද ඒ වෙද්දි?? ex: Msc, aws/oracle certificates වගේ දේවල්? ඒ ගැන දැනගන්න කැමතියි

බොහෝම ස්තූතියි! මට එහෙම එකකට තිබුණේ මගේ උපාධිය විතරයි. තව විවිධ තරඟ වලින් (NBQSA, Hackathons, etc. ) දිනපු ඒවා තිබුණා. Certifications මුකුත් තිබුණේ නෑ, දැනටත් නෑ.

It’s a bit of a tricky thing. Most of these opportunities will need German language because those roles require you to speak German. But if you try SRE roles, there are many.
