Rest in peace to 'Spider' a fine warrior and leader. What these men did in recon ops and deep penetration strikes was nothing short of outstanding. Rest in peace to the fallen SOG operatives and indigenous forces.

There have been a 1000 people that have said this, but the SOG stories are the craziest things I've even heard. If a director was smart he would cover this because all the thinking is done for him, you literally can not have a tighter wooden nickel listening to these. Besides your vets deserve more.......much more than this spiraling thing we call the USA has given them.

We continue to have the brave warriors today getting better and better as defenders of our country but the camaraderie ingrained in these stories are what friendships and memories are made of. And those hero’s are lucky to have had each other. Thank you for your dedication ,service to America and sharing the history of viet nam. Rest in piece Spider.

He was still Sharpe. There's a lot of emotional issues that go with a 30 year career. Traumatic memories get buried and sometimes they're hard bring back especially when you are not allowed to write/journal entries for OPSEC. Just in this interview you could see clarification on certain missions. You can see and experience the same thing and have different thoughts and stories it's why AARs are so important for a lot of things.
