Please do a video on how to assemble this. The photos in the directions are very unclear and if I match them, I'm pretty sure I will assemble the wrong and I'm only in step 2. The link on the website that claims to have a video is just a pdf of the same instructions that came in the packaging where it is impossible to see which direction a piece should be facing when putting together.

Great easel for the price, as reported in reviews at Jerry's, you will need to shore the mast with additional hardware of your own. Other than that, it is working well. The tray accommodates a thicker canvas over 2.5 inches so you will have to move thinner canvases back in the tray which is a pain since they lay against the mast. To remedy this, you need to use canvas bridges or shim behind a thinner canvas. I take a spare canvas and stick it behind the one I am working on to keep thinner canvases close to the front edge. Again, not the greatest, but this stuff is minor and can be worked around. Overall, I would still recommend it as the benefit of the smaller footprint and mobility out way the inconvenience.

@ www.jerrysartarama.com/h-frame-studio-easel Dear Nancy- You bring up some valid points about easel trays, and unfortunately with so many canvas sizes on the market, no easel on the market today has the perfect canvas tray and holder to skillfully accommodate all canvas and panel depths to perfection, unless you are spending $600.00 and upwards (and generally incurring oversized shipping charges, as well). Great job on finding a work around that helps with your particular canvas depth, and you are correct that using a canvas bridge or some sort of shimming system will help most easels accommodate desired stretched canvas selections. The SoHo Urban Artist Easels are designed to be offered to artists as an incredible value-priced option, which features most of the bells and whistles of the next level brand name easels, but at half of the price those command.
