It seems to me that Sohyang added a bit more of a blues stylization to her singing. She used the blues/gospel process of holding notes longer and starting them a bit sooner or later than the strict timing of the song indicated, and I absolutely love it! She does this fairly often and I wish she would just do a straightforward blues album of songs, with no other song types on it. She would instantly set the standard for blues singing, just as she has with every other song genre she touches! 👀😯😉💘😎🙃

Beautiful. This song has a lot of long sustaining notes and she has so much air support on all of them. This seems effortless for her right now. It's cool to hear how Sohyang and Celine have a similar nasal resonance on some vowels when they sing.

People need to research before they post reaction videos because this is a cover written and sung by JENNIFER RUSH not most definitely not Celine Dion, so SOHYANG has done the best cover of this classic 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Yes, Jennifer Rush co-wrote that song, and sang it originally (1984), making it a hit many years before Celine Dion's cover (1993). Rush even made a music video that was popular on MTV.
