Patti was over 50+plus in most of these videos, she had been singing for so long, just for her to be able to sustain such high notes over 50 years in the business is amazing

Sorry, but it's Patti all the way here. Patti's voice is much bigger, clearer and louder. This other person, whom I don't know, voice is narrow and somewhat sharp in that register. So it's Patti for me.

Sohyang's light tone probably makes her belts a "little" annoying. Patti still manages to sound rich and full.

Truly she's has the gift.I don't know her music personally. It's unfortunate humans we compare mostly unintentionally comparing our muses. I actually welcome ANY voice that can compare to Patti it just not happening. She is uber talented. Vocally (no blasphemy)Patti is like the metronome she welcomes all talent and wants artists to surpass her.2024 Noone has done it.I personally wouldn't try. ❤❤😇

What i noticed is that patti’s belts especially at the higher ends have more body/oomph and thickness(if you may). Sohyang’s have less body but are clearer and she jas a lot of dynamics to her belts. Some are more bodied, whereas some have less ground/body like the G5/Bb5 in Arirang alone

Eh... it's totally the other way around. How can SoHyang be fuller when she barely has a chest voice? She just have great vowel shaping to make it sound rounded which is different from being fuller.
