Aretha and Patti are slayage per usual. Sohyang is a Goddess in that upper 5th belting range, so is Vanessa. Paullete really shocked me and I'm here for her. Ariana has a gorgeous ring, and Jonalyn was good as well up to Bb5...after she started to fade but she was eating.

For most singers it only sounds pleasant untill Bb5. But Aretha an Patti aren't other singers

Sohyang has my favourite upper belts. The notes genuinely don't sound as high as they actually are because of how incredibly full and well rounded they are. It offers such an incredible tonal quality as well as phenomenal ease and power. Aretha's hit different! The raw emotion that comes in when Aretha sings anything is palpable (also her technique is utterly phenomenal). Ariana has a stunning voice and I love her high belt but it is not really up to par with the rest here. I feel that Patti is someone that never really had to work much on reaching those notes so she didn't spend a huge amount of time learning to balance them so sometimes they come out as a bit shouty. They are absolutely brilliant though and I do enjoy a good bit of Patti. This Paulette lady is someone I'm only just discovering now why? She is remarkable. Her upper belts is one of the best here and that breath control, ugh. She is a marvel. Jonalyn Viray is another I don't know much about but her ability to sustain and effortlessly flow through her range is outstanding. What an incredible talent. I don't like Vanessa's voice at all. She's just too shrill for me, it could be as a result of her excessive use of twang but whatever it is I don't like it. It is very technically proficient and impressive but for me, it's a no.

imo patti, aretha and sohyang are the best here. the rest are still absolutely amazing tho but those 3 will forever be my faves.

It's actually crazy how natural and free SoHyang's voice sounds up there.

Aretha's belt in 'Laughing on the Outside' is unmatched in its ferocity and perfect pitch, as are her other belts in this video, just a better quality of sound, with musical merit.

Sohyang belt are more powerful and more resonance even if some people are telling that she sound harsh in ears but its ok , being soprano are normal to sound like that because that's their way to reach some powerful notes ,✅✅✅ I read on Wikipedia that she trained for more than 20 years before she hit that type of notes like (G5),(Bb5),(A5),(B5),(C6),(C#6),(D6)

Feels so funny to witness a battle where Ariana is the first to go out with a top note of B5 (where in battles with other singers she stays till the end) 😂

Vanessa was robbed on her Bb5 she has a performance where she belts Bb5 and phrases on it

In my opinion a singer shouldn't belt this high unless they have chest. Aretha and Patti are the only famous singers who still had a lot of chest this high. Others just lack core. If you ask me, belting a chesty e5 is way more impressive than mixing b5.

Even though Ariana's technique can't compare to other singers on this list, but her tone is much more pleasant to ear than all others. It's more distinctive, all others sounds kinda the same, after some time others sounds actually really annoying to me, while Ariana doesn't sound like that. That's why Ariana is for me best upper belter, she's impressive but also sounds nice.

Arethas G5 was so powerful, yet crystal clear, sounded extremely natural. Patti of course can soar above the clouds with ease at any moment and sustain it. Arianna is beautiful but has the least power, soyhang's is absolutely beautiful but it almost seems like she is yelling or "making noise" instead sometimes, the others where also good
