A Step by step demo of replacing the rechargable battery in a Seiko Solar powered watch. These batteries last 10-15 years but the replacement was going to cost me 50% of the watch value so I wanted to find and share a way of replacing them yourself. As the back had been on for so long it was totally stuck and my normal watch tools would not move this one, first watch they have failed on. However if you are lucky enough to be able to get it off please skip to 7:15. The most difficult part was actually putting the screw that holds the battery tab back in the most difficult, just needs patience, the rest is actually easy with a few cheap tools.
