as i commented in the other video: could you please disassemble one and upload the video? i need to know how much of the metal is possible to be removed without breaking the unit. i need to flex it down to a diameter of 85mm (3,35 inch). need to know if its possible with those kind of lights. ty for reply i'm really curious why this metal ring is that large o.o

Is this an official advertisment of the product? If not please share longer term usefulness as these solar ones tend to all die in mater of few months only and should one out of a large batch survives for then next season, usually the solor panel cover cooks up or plastic becomes fragile and break on touch. Am I right here too or what?

i suppose these would also have to be dug up in the winter? i dislike how in the amazon description they put things like "100% brand new". just makes me skeptical of buying anything like that

Yes the little instruct flyer that comes with it suggests if you live in area with cold freezing temps in winter to remove them. Common sense.

@Roberto Coin I was instructed to leave it on the on position to charge all day in the sunlight in order to keep it on at night for as long as it was charged.

I bought 16 of these.after less then a year 7 fail to work & several have moisture in the solar panel.Anyone else have a problem?

These will not stay in place if stored on. The plastic part in ground break all the time

Pour water on the ground first, if your soil is hard & dry. Water will soften the ground, allowing you to install your solar light.

These lights and any other like these are no good!!! They are not completely waterproof or moisture proof which leads to corrosion of the battery tabs and basically all of the metals on the inside, which also leads to premature failure of the LED's. The thin and flimsy rubber seals in these simply are not enough to keep moisture out completely and you will see condensation inside of the top lens.

My 8 led disc lights run 10hrs and 4 led about 6-7. You do need to have them in full sunlight for several hours to charge. They wont light an area or cast a light on anything but they are bright and I got tired of the other taller lights that I had to mow around , these are buried.
