Don't get more batteries, turn your lights to 12v, you could also get a 12v heating element on a timer to warn water, im building a 12v system for my coop, it will run 12v lights, 12v fan, 12v pumping system for automatic self watering rain harvesting system, I will have a inverter just for emergency AC power, I'm building a sustainable hurricane proof chicken bunker, it's a monster.

Eventually I will make a video explaining the solar portion only in depth but The title here doesn’t say “solar power explanation” and I’m sorry if it didn’t meet your expectations but if that’s the case I’m not forcing you or anyone to watch the content.
