The best thing about solar is the units that you export to WAPDA, you can take them back or import them at night without paying extra or simply import and export units are equivalent. And if you have enough units for three months they'll be sold to WAPDA at about 8-10 Rupees. This is the best part that you missed. Please pin this comment so people know. 📌

Very well explained bro i really appreciate it and i want everyone in pakistan to start purchasing more and more solar pannels instead of generators cause you don't have to pay a single rupee for electricity while using generators even of class A1 . You would still have to pay the gas bill and in some areas where you have lack of gas that can create a great problem for you . if all of over more than 200+ million population of pakistan started using solar pannels so we can litterally save over more than a billion dollars. Fun fact | you can even know when it is sunny and when it is raining in tv,mobiles,ipad,tablet ,laptop,computer,radio and your watch.

In hybrid system, the electricity won't be free technically because after every 2 years you have to replace the batteries. In the end, the money you saved from the electricity will go into new batteries maintenance.

There are some basic flaws in your explanation and understanding of solar systems 1. Off grid system only works on the energy produced by solar panels there is no wapda or grid connection involved so its essentially recommended for places where there is no grid available. 2. On grid system switches off during load shedding not because of load balancing but due to the safety feature of inverter which uses grid or wapda as a reference to work. In absence of grid power inverter switches off primarily to stop the export of electricity through net meter or bidirectional meter. Its mainly a safety feature to protect technicians working on grid lines. 3. Hybrid system works the way you have explained. However i beg to differ with your recommendation of installing hybrid system due to following reasons. 1. Hybrid systems are way too costly. 2. RoI or return on investment of such system is very long (7-8 years). 3. Batteries being provided in pakistan are not reliable and fail after some time. Even if they work properly you need to replace them after 3-4 years which is quite costly. My recommendation is to go for in grid system with net metering(not every home can be net metered it needs to meet specific criterion i.e 3 phase lines etc). Furthermore to avoid load shedding use ups already installed at home. That way although you will not be able to run your ac etc however other essential appliances (fans,lights etc) work as they do normally. If you have ample anount to spend and you can bear the recurring cost of batteries replacement then go for hybrid system otherwise go for on grid system it will save you a lot of amount.

@naswan83692 жыл бұрын
You are right brother
@hassaniqbal34102 жыл бұрын
Let me add more points to your comments. (1) If someone go for hybrid system then the system can definitely give you electricity at day time during load-shedding but if load-shedding happens at night, you will be using your battery backup and its discharge speed will depend upon your usage. Batteries will drain more fastly by using AC. (2) In hybrid system, you have to dedicate the load which could run on the system and you cannot add those appliances which require sudden increase in current in their start, like water pump because they will damage the batteries. (3) On-grid system don't require any load dedication. You can run anything you want on it because the electricity produced by solar directly goes to WAPDA and then you use the electricity back from them.
@pind5072 жыл бұрын
I want to add one more point that as there are Hybrid inverters available which work without batteries during the day or sunlight even if there is no electricity. In this system one doesn't need batteries during day time and it will work
@sosacarlos59712 жыл бұрын
Who in their right mind would go for on grid system when they have the option for hybrid system? The BIGGEST disadvantage of on grid system is that you WOULDN'T USE it at NIGHT. Your will still be paying half the bill to wapda.
@abdulrehmankhan48602 жыл бұрын
the efficiency of solar plates depends upon rate of absorptivity of sun rays, some rays transmit and some rays reflects which causes the decrease in efficiency thats why more plates are use to compensate the loss in power

You don't need a green meter strictly. Some normal meters are Bi-Directional too and just need a required software update. But I'd still go for a green meter.

Ongrid has these advantages 1. Better inverters and better technical support 2 . Long warranty 10 years being given by Huwaei on its On-grid inverters 3. SImpler operation 4. Cheaper to install. Hybrid inverters are relatively new and technology is mature enough, but they do have the advantage of Zero-loadshedding but at the cost of higher investment and low warranty just 5years compared to 10 years for the On-grid

Can Hybrid systems support the heavy load during load shedding at daytime?
@yousaf.saleem2 жыл бұрын
@@rabiuddin5117 Yes they can if designed for heavy loads. Depends on the inverter. Both BEL and Sky electric just use local inverters and cover those with large boxes to hide what is actually inside a cheap local inverter.
