Not going to happen. The noise from this factory is from the highly compressed air to blow out the tubes to keep them, well tubes, as the glass cools down. I work at a shipyard that uses 150 PSI tools, and when someone opens up the airline by accident without a tool. It's super loud. I guarantee you that the compressed air at this factory is well above 150 PSI.

The fabric sleeve prevents the tubes scratching each other, and the getter scratching the outer tube, as one tube is slid into the other. Once the inner tube is all the way in, the sleeve is no longer needed, and is removed. Wasn't that obvious from the video?

Sunil TG these tubes are double-layered. The vacuum occurs in the space formed between the outside layer and the inner layer.

Late to the party but the tube is double walled glass tube which absorbs sunlight to heat up a copper heat tube inside the glass tube. The copper heat tube transfers the heat to a manifold for hot air or hot water. The heated water stays inside the insulated manifold and never comes in contact with the glass or copper tubes.

@@drewberrynews3875 i should explain: at the time i searched for through pipes with vacuum shielding, like Schott "PTR 70". i want to pump the liquid thru the pipe, as it done in the industrial solar plants.

@@alexkart9239 yeah these are definitely not made for pressure. These are good for heat exchanger. So if your goal for example is to heat water the you can grab the heat of these to heat the water. But these are definitely not for a pass through system.
