Sold For Scrap! 1990 Ford Crown Victoria LTD

This is one of many cars making their way into the recycling center in the next few days. We purchased a large sum of cars from a local car lot and will picking them up soon. First one to get some camera time is this 1990 ford crown victoria LTD! Just about the same as my daily driver ltd, this one has all power options, ragtop, and hubcaps. Just as mine it has the 302 cubic engine 5.0L pushrod V8 and a AOD transmission. Due to overall condition I will not be saving this one. It will be parted out in the field. Although I will probably save many good parts for my own car. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned because there is much more to come!

I feel so bad for this old girl... I have a soft spot for Crown Vics and I get so sad when they get sold for scrap or get destroyed in a movie. Mostly because they're rare now-a-days, and if we don't spot destroying them, they'll become as rare as a Model T by 2025. Hopefully, I'll get one by then.

+ Badger Productions Hard to believe, but okay. A opinion is a opinion. EDIT: By the way, just because your towed a lot of Fords doesn't mean they're bad. Examples: It could've had a flat tire, or maybe it needed a oil change. Maybe it had a bad owner and he/she/it didn't take care of it.

I had one of these last year. 1990 Ford Crown Vic LTD. Dual exhaust. Many new parts with maintenance records going back 15 years from the original owner... Car ran so quiet and smooth was really cared for. It'd sit for months at a time and start right up without hesitation.. Came with all the original keys.. AC worked..had the sidewalk lights on the front bumper. Was a pretty cool car with only 70k on it but I have a car that gets better mpg and sold it for 1,200. The V8 in mine though ran so smooth and barley made a sound at idle comparing it to my newer car.

I sold parts at several Ford dealerships for 4 decades . U cannot go wrong with the big Ford , Mercury or Town Car. The cops pounded the crap out of these cars for decades....they are great . Good luck with yours Jay .

Another member of the Ford panther platform sold for scrap. This happens way too often. I hate seeing these big old cars sold for scrap money. The town car, grand Marquis, and the crown Victoria are the best of their time. Far to good to be scraped...

That's a shame, it looks like a solid car under the grime. It looks like it went through an auction and didn't sell, maybe because the writing on the screen suggests it has a salvage title. Plenty of spare parts on that one for your beige Crown Vic though, I'd grab the lights to hoard in case yours gets knocked again. I wouldn't sell those tyres, it looks like it's sat with them flat for some time so they probably have side wall damage, they could be dangerous...

That is not a 94. Thats a 91. 92+ was the Aero, 89/90 had the old dash, and only 91 had clear signal lenses.

I had a 91 Marquis that was the BEST car ever! It was like driving from my living room couch and with the 302 got over 20 mpg everywhere! I think these Fords are worth saving, IMHO.

That would be an awesome car to hotrod, supper big motor, Dana 60 for awesome burn outs and best of all suicide doors. Maybe a little chop wouldn't hurt either. If only I was a billion air all my dreams would be done.

Why does everyone call these things a "Crown Victoria LTD" I call them a "LTD Crown Victoria/LTD Vic/LTD CV" or just "LTD", "Crown Victoria/Crown Vic" in my opinion refers to the 92+ car

I see why the vinyl tops all cooked coming from Phoenix Arizona? That's why there's no rust on that baby comes from dry country or good cars come from with no rust you got to try to get that one go and maybe if it's in better shape than your other one just a thought the interior looks pretty nice in it?

Dude what decent cars do u have there n the lot a van or car or truck for around $500 and that will make it back to missouri and back n forth to work fir a few months lol I'm serious I'll come down m get it .have any parts for a 97 lincoln continantal? 4.6v8 need tranz parts. Plus I'd like to set down with u and the gang for a drink or a chooutch.420 lol love ur videos man like ur that one mover star that everyone has and wants to meet . your operator needs to learn how to pick up cars better i guarantee he either bent the driveshaft or put a huge dent in the bottom of that car when he picked it up cause he didn't go all the way to the other side of the car
