Thank you so much for doing this video. Early 70s maverick is my favorite classic car and i just love the body style. Thats also a beautiful color, looks like gulf stream aqua or a metallic teal. Great job on the resto!!!!

It's nice there are young people working on econoboxes, parents and grandparents weren't addicted to high horsepower V6 and V8 cars, Elon Musk would be back in Africa working for Dell or HP as a service engineer. I had a Skyhawk, one rear shock punctured through the wheel well into the trunk one day. I couldn't get the engine turn over one day and that was the end of me being the owner. My father had a pretty turquoise cavalier, gave it to a charity because of the tranny😢

Winner winner chicken dinner boys. I had several 70...74. Mavericks. Mostly straight six auto. But I also had one with 3 on the tree and my favorite was a 72 Grabber Maverick. 5 hole wheels and a 302..4 speed. I planned on keeping that one but it got stolen in 1985. This definitely brought back some good memories.

The top of fuel tanks is what typically rots, and the pump falls in, so you cant tell until you drop them to see the condition.

Water is important in heat but even more important... eat chips.. you need the salt. Adding electrolytes to the water is even better.

My uncle had a 71 with a V8.. a grabber (I think it was a 71?) Thing was insane.. and he painted it with house paint.. brushes and rollers.. him and his best friend 😂 And this video is really weird now because I had that same exact chainsaw too. In fact i just tossed it a year ago when I moved... 🤨

White dodge needs a refurbished brain. Open it up.. and you will most likely find mud dauber wasp nest on the circuit board. If.. and if.. it all looks good.. check CPS - crank position sensor on top of tranny passenger side.

I just now found your channel, glad i did. Being a fan of cars in general, and the restorations of "barn finds" I actually enjoy the road trip videos more. Automobiles and road trips just go hand in hand.

This is a ford 200 6 cylinder, also Ford had the 300 CI, 6 cylinder. Dodge had the 225 slant 6 and AMC had the famous 258 straight 6

Beautiful car, just like the one I learned to drive on. It should be kept original, but probably somebody will swap a V8 in it... :-) I liked the 6, tough engine. I always loved mine, well, my Dad's. He traded it in for a brand new first year Fairmont (white with blue interiors, ugh!).

I keep hoping I can have an old pickup to do work to have an income and deliver food and necessities to those in need. I know how it feels after being homeless for 7 years. I live a very meager life at 62 on HUD, Food Stamps, grocery giveaways, etc. Someone will help me I believe God knows. The charities are corrupt and treat people cruelly.

I bought my son a 2003 Sport Trac for his first truck. He kinda didn't like it at first, but now, he's in love with it.. Hauls all kinds of stuff in it. He just graduated,. So I put in a sound system for with subwoofer.. I pulled the engine and did the chains and tensioners with Ford parts,. Painted the engine ford gray, replaced the evap coil,. And resealed everything with RTV Gray.. 2 years, no leaks. Runs like a champ. Probably the best truck ford ever made.
