This is the Soldano Hot Rod 25 guitar amplifier from Soldano Custom Amplification in Seattle, Washington. It is COMPLETELY researched, designed, built, tested, and sold in the USA. If you are looking for a "Baby SLO-100", then this is your amp. 50 watt transformers, but wound to produce 400 plate volts or 25 watts. 2 channels (Crunch and Overdrive) each with a master volume and pregain, standard tone stack with presence, tube buffered effects loop that will run any of your pedals, 2 speaker jacks, impedance selector, and foot switch jack for the included channel changing pedal.
2-Sovtek 5885/6L6's and 5-12AX7's make up the vacuum tube compliment.
You will love the tone of this amp, as it has that historic "Marshall" style brown sound thanks to the 400 plate volts. Couple that with a Crunch channel that has a ton of clean head room and the Overdrive channel of the SLO-100, you have an amp that does it all.
I've gigged with this amp using a 1x12", 2x12", and 4x12", and it ran all of them with ease. Small, medium, or large outdoor gigs, this amp can do any of them.
