Solderless Stratocaster Kit Installation

Something a little different in this video - no soldering! At the back end of 2019, We finally got round to releasing a solderless version of our Stratocaster wiring harnesses (classic wiring and blend control wiring).
In this video I go through the incredibly easy installation process.
I also spent the Christmas holidays building a DIY pickup winding machine kit and have started the long, arduous journey of learning to wind pickups. Expect to see our pickup range available on the market later in 2020. However in this video, the pickups I'm using were wound the previous week, so I was keen to give them a listen.

Heyo, will you have any in stock a couple months from now? I’m looking to purchase this harness and a cheap single coil strat, to use as a pick testing platform because i’m also making my own pickups, your harness would be a great solution to quick and easy pick up swaps, not to mention the longevity of a solder less system! Great work i’m a huge fan of your harness!

Sorry for the slow reply sir! Erm...the global supply chain is causing mayhem and we are waiting on a delivery of the grounding plates. Best guess is 2 months from now. Thanks for watching.

Hi , I Saw two different out put jacks at Steward McDonald, the Mono and the Stereo. It's said "A stereo jack can be used for stereo wiring, or to enable on board active electronics when a 1/4" mono plug is inserted." What does that means "A stereo wiring".? Cheers.

hi, I will look at doing a video on that in the future. stereo jacks are needed for active circuits. Most guitar circuits are passive, so use a mono jack. (If you're using active pickups for example, generally you need a stereo jack) Thanks for watching

hopefully yes, it would require bulk purchase of LH pots but if the demand is there, then of course. (I'm a lefty too so understand the frustration, however, I play guitar RH) PS not suggesting you do!!
