I think homelander doesn't kill edgar because he can see that Edgar is genuinely not afraid of him, in the comics Edgar is a sociopath but in the series he is a little more humanized, but even so he doesn't fear Homelander and that makes him not wanting to kill Edgar, because he likes to be feared (my theory)

I think 5:54 is the funniest scene in the entire series. When Hughie steps to Homelander and Homey makes that "Ooh, boy's got balls" noise. Killer.

It makes a lot of sense why the Soviets would take America's "greatest hero" and create a counter measure. It is also interesting to see how the Russians see the Seven as monsters and they mock them with the street art.

What I love the most is how everyone kinda felt that taking Temp-V was on brand for Butcher but the disappointment for Hughie because they KNOW he's a decent person. I thought that was pretty powerful.

Did you notice how the Temp V gave butcher and Huey powers of their mortal enemies, butcher hates homelander that he has laser vision and super strength and Huey can teleport which is kinda like A-Train’s speed 👀

I think that Homelander leaves Edgar alive because he still wants to prove him wrong, to earn his respect. He wants Edgar to live to see that he's more than a disappointment - due to his severe parental issues, as referenced. :-/ Edgar is right, Homelander is looking for his approval, as if he was his daddy.

Not even clear what Supersonic's powers were. The name makes it sound like superspeed, but I doubt they would bring him onto the team when A-Train was already back in. Probably sound related, like a super scream maybe? That would fit with his music career. I feel like you need to be pretty powerful to even be considered for the 7, but I guess when someone is 1 on 1 against Homelander, and he even gets you by surprise, it probably doesn't matter.

Just as an fyi, 3x6 is kind of the, hmmm, much more season finale like (there is another word that is far too much of a spoiler) but 7 and 8 are kind of more epilogues and set ups. Like there is a big battle in the finale but it doesn't live up to 6.

I would like to genuinely compliment you guys and thank you for being one of an extremely few, if not the only reaction channel that doesn't feel the need to sing any part of a Soulja Boy song or shout "YOU!" anytime someone says Soldier Boy. It is one of my biggest pet peeves when someone seems to base their entire sense of comedy on the laziest, most obvious, no-thought commentary, especially when they think they're killing with it. It's automatically negative points for me and it's a hole they have to dig themselves out of from the start. It feels like you guys ignore the first joke that comes to mind and throw out some punchlines and observations that I hadn't noticed myself, so I'm actually watching for you guys, not just an edited-down, smaller-screen version of the show. The only exception might be the ol' dickless marketing guy. The "he has no dick" hits me the same as if you were just saying, "Oh, the marketing guy is on the screen, look at that," but he's not getting a ton of screen time or anything, so it never has a chance to get annoying. They say the words "Soldier Boy" all the time so that specific reference gets under my skin fucking fast. I'm loving your reaction to the series; I'm glad I get to binge it.
