People are soooo chilish. Military service iis mandatory because of the tension between the two koreas. So, he can't leave the military just to do a challenge. I understand why they want him to do that. We all miss him but he is fulfilling his duty. He has to learn to defend his country and hiimself. All wars are stupid and I wish they never existed because nothing good comes from it but the truth is that unfortunately they are real and we just have to accept the truth whether we like it or not. I don't like it that they all are in the military either but the reality is their country is not safe yet.them being there is neither something to celebrate or to be exactly sad about. It's desheartning and maekes you think of all kids of scenerios. Look at Yoongi. He doesn't necessarily give us any "sign of lif" and he keeps me worried making me think of all scenarios and none of them are pretty but i'm keeping nyself busy with other things, I miss all of them but time flies nowadays.

I too read those statements made, presumably, by a soldier from the same base as Jin. Of course I can't know how much truth there is. However, I am perplexed by the statement that Jin is the only assistant instructor to use formal language with soldiers in training, because: 1. Jin himself published a story, relating to RM's enlistment ceremony, if I remember correctly, in which he criticizes the macknae and even j-hope for calling him hyung, which is not used in the army, because everyone has to be called by his rank. So it seems strange to me that as a sergeant he addresses the recruits in a formal way, as if they were civilians. 2. If all the assistants address the recruits informally, it seems strange to me that Jin would do something different from everyone else, which would put him in the position of wanting to discredit his colleagues. They are comrades in the army and I don't think Jin would be so loved if with his language he underlined a difference in education between himself and others.
