I have a twin brother who has struggled with addiction. I asked him to leave my home because he just wouldn't try. He lived in a shelter for about 2 months and I worried about his diabetes. I went to get him and we were both so happy. He's been clean for 5 years! It's a great feeling!😢😅

@@__recon3047 Well, I had a Dad who was mentally messed up after that Vietnam War, and I had a little cousin who was also messed up mentally from that Iraqi War, so ( real or not ) when people come home after serving in the military ( real or not ) it is truly truly a blessing. ( You feel me ) ?

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley 1950s to 1980. Everything was affordable, with money left over to enjoy life. And that was with minimum wage. There is no way I could afford to live there now. Most people I knew have left or are on the verge of homelessness themselves. How did everything get so out of balance. Why are there so many homeless and suffering. What happened to the good life that I remember.

What makes me think that he served our country, he's an educated guy. Why our government, no matter who the presidents are, why they haven't found the solution to end with our own homeless people. Why are activists defending outsiders, but they don't protest for our homeless people. When someone has money, they're like a magnet. But when someone gets in disgrace, no one helps; it's like they were invisible
