this was such a good episode. I understand that kids these days really dont understand history and only care about hype and what they see celebrities wear. The comparison to Nirvana was easily the best comparison that could have been made. I understand because I am 18 and I honestly could care less about who is wearing whatever. Like with Tinker 3s i remember seeing pictures of them before they released and i thought they were the one of the coolest jordan 3s personally and then I looked into who Tinker Hatfield was and I started liking sneakers and the history they have. I wish I was at Complex-Con this year because I would have loved to have won a pair of rare sneakers and I definitely would have kept them and not tried to walk out of the booth not trying to crease them just to make some quick money for selling them

The ppl who killed this passion for us are the ones who say “ sneaker head ,sneaker game ,collection , hype beast , etc back then we bought sneakers cuz he couldn’t have as a kid growing up n seeing MJ wit them penny ,griffey , Barkley , AI , n we did it for the color ways to match our outfits n by doing so we ended up wit 10 15 20 pairs but to wear them not just to collect dust .

Why are all these old people trying to make it seem like younger people are uninformed and oblivious to the culture or how special a shoes is? If someone wants to buy a pair of off white prestos just because they look good, then good for them. They don’t have to know every little thing about virgil to be able to buy them.
