+miguelvltx it would be nice to see a possible DLC taking place pre-war. Make it about Nate's past in the army. Similar to Operation Anchorage. Have some flash forwards in the dlc of Nate and Nora at the house, her prego, etc. Then end the dlc with nate and nora going to bed on October 22nd, the day before the bombs dropped. Then, Nate wakes up from the memory lounger and the DLC is over. Whatever the case, It would be lovely to have more pre war content to expand on. I found Nate, Nora and Shaun to be the most interesting family in the Fallout series, mostly because you can actually see their life go from normal and happy with a loving family relationship to being crushed in less than an hour.

it's awesome to play through for the first time. but once you start to make more characters you usually want to rush through it as fast as possible to play the actual game.

The prologue would be an hour long if we did that lol

Glowing Deathclaws sometimes render like normal Deafcwehs but with like a sickly green Pip-Boy glow coming out of their chests; Mythic Deathclaws have turned into Glowing Deathclaws in my settlement; the Minutemen T-45f power armor i have on display outside the house across from mine in Sanctuary turned vanilla rusty for no reason; Bethesda needs to patch this shit if we're expecting Console Mods in the near future. oh, and there was this thing where i looked at Hancock whom had the misfortune of traveling with me at the time; and no joke the power armor he was in wigged out SO badly, that he returned to normal NPC height, went through normal NPC animations, but there were spaghettified PA pieces stretching out from where they SHOULD'VE been on his body. how THAT glitch hasn't been fixed yet and a bunch of settlement building glitches have both shocks and disappoints me.

fallout 4 is the first fallout game you can play in the pre war

Well it would be great but will it be good for the sore survivor. It can be applicable if sore survivor is male. His wife is a lawyer so I don't think lawyers are any part of war. It would be better if they had put a feature that let's be with your family before the war. I guess a spin-off Fallout game about Great war would be better. A open world Fallout game happening in a country where Great war occurred.

But in my opinion still pretty cliche. I agree on what the beginning of fallout shoukd've been on the buildup and connections of the old world.

if you remember stuff then it would take a little of what is left of the RPG aspect of the game away if you give the character a past.

metal greymon New Vegas gave you an uncontrollable past in its DLC. People rave that game as the most RPG-like game of the 3D Fallout games, yet you're still just as tied to a backstory as you are in Fallout 4. In New Vegas you are a Courier and you were a Courier, you can't change that. You killed innocent people in the divide. You can't control that. You can make up backstories for what you did before that, but nothing can change that you were a pretty awful piece of trash before getting shot in the head. In Fallout 4 you were a soldier, you are a soldier, and you will always be a soldier of some sort. Your past is a little bit more vague. You could have done a number of things during the war. You might have killed people without a second thought, or you might have tried to keep innocents alive despite the disapproval of your fellow soldiers. So far three Fallout games force you to have a backstory (unlike TES games). Fallout 4's is the weakest because it doesn't build anything up like New Vegas or even Fallout 3 with the daddy story.

The community their built up around you delivering packages. All you know is you were a damn good at being a courier. Thats it. anything else about you the player can decide

Who knows, what if dogmeat is a synth, if the imstitute can make gorillas, they shpuld be able to make dogs too, or, maybe dogmeat was frozen in a cryo vault as well and got help from a human to get out, lets just hope that if dogmeat was in a cryo vault, that it would be fit for dogs so that dogmeat wouldnt have to stand on 2 paws and then later fall snout first on the cold hard floor. so yea... two reasons dogmeat is still "alive"

You are correct, but you don't understand it's meaning in this video. He realized a dog was missing in his life, and didn't know why. He then runs into Nick Valentine, and refuses to remember who he was. This was because he was trapped in a simulation, and was refusing to accept the truth of what had happened. At the end of the story, Hancock saves the Sole Survivor from his own mind by forcing the simulation chamber open. Also, in the beginning of the story you see a woman in a red dress. This is a referece to The Matrix. The main character in the Matrix, Neo gets distracted by a lady in a red dress, which almost leads to his death. Morpheus than explains to Neo that the lady isn't real. This later became a symbol of what's reality and what isn't.

There is a Alternate start mod ( can't rememeber the author name ) but i use that for my female play through & she's my Lone Wanderer. It helps with ideas.
