Thank you Fabio for your excellent review. I really like the way you cover all the features of the microphone, without being overly technical, or adding too much personal commentary. Your review has just the right amount of your personality, mixed with the most important features of the microphone. You explain very clearly how it works, it's ideal application, and an actual demonstration of each of the modes, and how to switch from one to the next. This is one of the best mic reviews I have ever watched. Your review has convinced me that the SSL Connex should be the ideal solution for streaming the meetings of our non-profit organization, with 5 to 6 people sitting around a table, making comments or asking questions during the meeting. What I appreciate most about your review, is that you use the SSL Connex for the review! I find it very annoying when someone does a 20 or 30 minute mic review, using a different mic from the one they're reviewing, and only add a 30 to 60 seconds of audio from the mic being reviewed. Hearing the mic through the entire video gives us a much better opportunity to evaluate it's performance, which is exactly what you did. This is the first time I have ever watched you, but I was so impressed I subscribed to your channel. Thank you again. I wish all reviews were done this way!

Thank you for the great review! I’ve patiently been waiting for a review with audio demo for a long time, and I’m positively surprised. I have a question however, do you know how good it is at cancelling feedback? If used in a conference phone/speaker phone situation I would think it picks up the other party of the conversation through the PC’s speakers? The single headphone out thus seems like a design oversight to me, as it’s practically useless as a communications device unless you are 1) alone and 2) using headphones. Looking forward to hear your thoughts/experience on that!

Hi! Glad you liked my review! If there is only one person who is speaking I suggest to use the SOLO modo cause will listen all around but only who is in front of the speaker will be the real source and the rest will be rejected, will automatically adjust the volume. In this way if you have a phone or laptop with speakers placed near the SSL Connex you can place it on the rear position and the sound will be rejected avoiding a loop. Or you can use the Immersive mode and place the source of the "other" near a capsule and lower that capsule volume. Fabio

1:55 not necessarily, that’s what music mode is for. Music mode bypasses processing

i disagree, its perfect for producers, if you work with voice and want to take down ideas in your daw really fast this is perfect, also your able to record instruments on the fly.

Yes of course, I only suggest to not use it as primarly vocal mic for recording. For ideas yes. Fabio
