Hello. Everything you did was great. One thing that I believe needs a better method. Creating those last raised features for plates etc. you made them an extrusion but I believe that would not really be how that would be done. It seems to me that those features should be done as indent features to maintain material thickness since you shelled it. Or maybe create those features before the shell so thickness is equal. Maybe you didn't want to back track. Anyway, thanks for sharing your techniques.

Sir, when I have given the command for Shell taking r = 2.5 mm then there was some error (says Thickness is Greater than the minimum radius of curvature) & system asked to Check for the Minimum radius of Curvature. Then i checked & got min. R.o.C = 0.5mm , Please explain the reason for this. BTW the Shell command completed on r = 2.5mm only.

Really well-made and easy to understrand tutorial, but there is something wrong with the design. The upper surface of the sink should be tapered towards the basin part to allow for water flow toward drain. This makes me wonder how one can make it in solidwors since cut extrusion results in a perfect horizontal surface

How can I find you display and selection options? Mine is looking more matte(Classic Solidworks Displays) but yours is more shiny and like rendered. For ex. your selection display is cyan and shiny but mine is blue and matte :)

you need professional graphics card in your system like Nvidia Quadro series or AMD firpro Series. other cards will not support real views.

good presentation but the last thing is raised feature so the thickness is not same . if you made it fist and shell it then will be same thickness. . so if i made all this same thickness by shell then how i can make flat pattern to get the blank size ? can u please add a video ? thank you

First thing’s first... you should have modeled only one half of the sink and mirrored the final body about the mid-plane to make the complete sink. Additionally, your sink can not be manufactured. It’s missing draft.

Your sketches are under defined. This would mean you would have failed at CAD class in first semester of engineering at a German University.

This is clearly not the point of the video. I gives you brain juice more than rigor. If you had to say something useful you could have talk about the fact that the emboss are actually made plain the way he did it. He should have done everything before the shell. Have fun in your German university!
