Solo CAMPING at HIMONTAGON HILLS • Gracia Veranda (Bohol, Philippines)

After doing a few group camping trips, I really wanted to try going out on my own. This videos is my first solo overnight camping trip here in the Philippines. I camp at GRACIA VERANDA located at the Himontagon Hills in Loay, Bohol.
They provided the tent and air mattress. I brought the rest of my gear and cooked up a fancy campfire Spicy Chin Ramen.
In the morning, we hike to the viewpoint of the HImontagon Hills for sunrise before packing up.

I had a chance to visit Himontagon Hills in the 80's when there was nothing but the beautiful hills. Thanks for showing the developments. I miss Bohol, the land of my birth.

Tent travel is the way to go. In the Philippines I traveled with my Hammock (super space efficient)... strung it up between Coconut trees... risked my life every night... wounldn't want to get struck by a Coconut 🥥😅

Hi. I think you can bring your own gear at most of these places but they don’t come with anything. Some have a CR some in the really remote areas don’t. Take care!

I miss solo camping. I did it 7 years ago in a National Park in CNX Thailand. Also, with friends on several occasions in the mountains , they're the best memories I have. I would love to camp here. Did you reserve a tent beforehand?

I found an FPV mode on my Mini 2. It’s not the same as the real thing but it’s fun to fly.
