I live in Arizona, USA. The food fare you made for your breakfast, complete with homemade corn tortillas looked awesome. My mother and father-in-law were Mexican....sadly gone now. Having meals with them and family was always an event, complete with homemade 14 inch flour tortillas, salsa, menudo, posole and cilantro was always a treat. Nothing quite like that. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

An idea for super simple backrest would be to make two poles, affix cloth between them, drill or cut holes in the floor facing backwards, and stick the poles in the holes. When not in use they can be rolled up and hung in the shelter.

You won't remember Jack Hargreaves, he used to present a tv programme, during the 1960's and 1970's, called 'Out of Town'. A simpler, contemplative and far more attractive lifestyle. Thank you.

Just discovered your channel and I love it! I'm in Canada, so our camping is a bit more "adventurous" shall we say. Bears, cougars etc. You get the picture. I love your more genteel version, where your biggest enemy is the weather. You can relax more, and enjoy the quiet, and the beautiful woods that surround you. I'd love to be camping with you, if only for your delicious looking meals! I'd do all the prep, if you'd do the cooking! LOL I've been to England numerous times in the past, and I adore it there. I will be looking up your previous adventures, as well. See you in the next one!

I enjoyed every single minute of this video so much. The atmosphere, the whole scene. The sound of the rain in the forest, the campfire 🤩🤩🤩🤩 What an amazing video Kent. Really enjoy your content, been doing that for a while now, but I never much commented on the videos. I should, you deserve to know how good these are. I would pay a lot (I can't, pretty poor but you get the idea 😄) to be there... Drinking a special lager, eating that amazing diner you always make. And just enjoying nature, the campfire. Man, that must be heaven. It's so sad that my wife and kids are totally not into camping, I personally love it. And you give me the next best thing. For that, I thank you, Kent. Much love brother!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

As far as a seat there is something called a stadium or bleacher seat or a boat seat. The front and bottom of the seat wraps down and under and back, and would attach to the boards behind your knees. And the back folds forward for taking it with you. Not sure if there still made today, but they were in yesteryear. I remember a pair hanging on the garage wall when i was a lad.

Probably my favourite vlog mate. I can’t make food that good in my house and you’re throwing it up in the woods haha! The shelter is mint 👌

I have been watching your videos for the past couple of weeks. I have watched dozens and dozens of them from a few days ago to 2 years ago in no particular order just what shows up in my recommended. I have to say you eat a better more varied diet in the woods than i do at home. That tells me one thing......i need to eat better stuff. I love your videos and i love your attitude. Cheers.

Superb!! Five stars, Andy, this episode is among your very best. Perfect forest camp ambience: cozy log grass-roofed shelter, three(!) lanterns, cornucopia of campfires, sizzling cast iron cooking, roast on a spit, custom furniture and, last but not least: Guac and thunderstorms! Thank you so very much for this alternative reality. I hope you have a wonderful summer!

Andy, what an awesome shelter . As I was watching your shelter build videos, I was thinking it reminds me of the shelters you and Simon camped in and around on your Sweden trip. Love your talent and your passion, a lot of us out there so very much appreciate all you bring us. Xx

Awesome episode Andy, I can only repeat what others have said that you look totally relaxed and unrushed, the rain also helped the relaxing feel to the video. I know what you mean about it being deadly silent at night. The slightest noise would have my imagination running away with me. I hope you continue your channel for many many years to come.

I think that the shelter is quite beautiful. I’m a welder and a carpenter, so I know what kind of skill it takes and time to build something like that. 12:33

I've been waiting for a nice quiet time to enjoy this extra long video and nothing better than a Sunday evening. The new shelter is a work of art, really well done.
