In this video I try out solo camping for the first time. There were many hiccups with the weather but I managed to persevere.
I tried out a simple wrap for dinner and a favorite of mine egg and bacon noodles for breakfast.

Hello all, my name is Sumeran Govender. I am from Durban, South Africa.
Durban, a coastal city on the east coast of South Africa, is known for its African, Indian and colonial influences.
Durban is the third biggest city in South Africa by population and is situated in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Fun fact……. Durban has the largest Indian population outside of India. Indentured laborer's were once brought to Durban to work in the sugarcane fields. We are now a part of Durban’s culture, adding a twist to everything from local fashion to food flavors'.
I started this channel in November 2022. Follow me for camping adventures where I will be exploring my city and trying to see if I can manage to keep myself fed with various recipes that I will try in each video.

Small tip #open up your tent and hammer pegs on each corner, this will prevent to tent moving around whilst you pitch up. 100% for the effort, keep it up you will definitely enjoy nature and the beautiful outdoors.

Good video Sumeran. I don’t see much of these videos coming out of Durban. So keep them coming. The wind gave you a tough time. I usually anchor the corners of the tent first and build up from there, especially if doing it alone and in the wind! But good job 😊 Btw, which camping site did you go to?
