Really enjoyed hearing you describe why you liked these games, especially the ones you were still workiung your way through -- and appreciated the discussion of the games that still need some improvements, and work on solo modes, etc.

Didn't realise abomination had a solo mode. Always thought it was a multi player, racing against each other. Will have to check it out. Thanks.

Very excited to see you're doing more written reviews! I am old enough to really miss blogs being ubiquitous, and really appreciate how much writing there is still in this hobby. Isle of Trains looks fun, glad you covered it.

I'm quite curious for the Isle of Trains solo mode. I saw the game at Essen and thought it looked really neat but with my gaming either being solo or just with my partner I thought it wouldn't suit that player count

I always play either solo or two player and that's the only way I've played Isle of Trains. I personally think it would probably be best at these player counts or maybe max 3 players as it's a smaller game in scope but my two player game did take about an hour. I think it may overstay its welcome perhaps a little with more. I don't feel you're missing anything from the game at 2 player or solo 😊
