Usually everyone does Koloa first then Kalo next, but I guess in your case is defferent. Yes, beautifuladventure!

Beautiful waterfall and views on the way up to it!!! Mahalo for sharing your solo hike Nandor! I haven't eaten mountain apple since I don't know when!!! I used to hike with my brother Leonard and a few Ohana and friends to Waihe'e Valley a few times when I was young. And when I lived on Maui :) . There were 3 swinging bridges and it was a challenge but so beautiful!!! That is the only big hike I did while living on Maui and then I went off to the University :) . I am glad I did hike to Waihe'e Valley!!! Btw, we all did the hikes with our "rubba slippas" and had no fancy or appropriate hiking boots!!! But we hiked it 3 different times!!! It was beautiful and I am so glad I did those hikes!!! You create a beautiful, informative and fun video, Nandor!!! Mahalo/Salamat!!!

@@HungaroExplorer I was a small time hiker, 😀 . Mountains apples are delish!!! I hiked a few trails when i was younger in Hana, too. Yes, you helped me recall my Waihe'e Valley & Hana hikes!!! Oh well, those were the days!!! Those were my hikes in my cheap "rubba slippas"!!!! Aloha my dear friend, Nandor!!!

Do you need a permit to hike this trail? I thought it is on privat property.

Yes, you still need a permit but after the pandemic sometimes takes a long time to get it…
