Hi' I was hoping that when you left Dalmellington you were going to stay on the A713 and camp by the edge of Loch Ken. Would have saved you a tenner 😄 Good place to take your mates next time.👍

I did have a look along lock Ken. It was absolutely chockablock. There was a fishing competition on that weekend and every space was taken, it was a little bit too busy for my liking although beautiful.

Your right when the fishermen are there your better giving it a miss. Back in the 1970s I use to water ski there, that really bothered them. 😅

You've certainly got the gear and the ideas👍👍 Always wanted to do some wild camping but never got round to it. A soft bed at night and a gert fry up is more my thing these days😁 Love watching your vids though, very peaceful.....well, until that 1290 starts growling🤣🤣

Big match weekend on Loch Ken this weekend, first match of the season, Pairs event, sell out. Having a week in cottage nr Kirkcudbright, had a run through Galloway Forest yesterday (Clatteringshaws Loch), noticed a few roads closed, logging maybe or track repairs, but views were lovely, waterfalls and trees. Found a few tracks today on the coast too, waters edge and great sea views. In the car with partner and dog, but coming back on the bike soon hopefully. Enjoying the vids, cheers.

@@Two_Wheel_Trips yes, teams of 2 (hence Pairs), very popular so parking would have been an issue. There looked to be plenty of tracks leading in to the forest, not sure if they are legal or not but I imagine with care and consideration (you have both 🙂) it would be safe to camp not too far up the fire roads.

You'll need a cheap mylar emergency sheet over your sleeping bag in cold temps works wonders stoping escaping heat

You find some really nice spots up the Lake District, excellent views and I can see you like them power wheelies ha ha! Fair play I’ll be doing the Scotland trip and wild camping in April any pointers along the way would be great you seem to have it all covered 👍

@@baylatron depends on how long you have and how much you want to see (if you plan on returning) it’s a long long trip to see it all in one go? And also if you MUST do the NC500 which I wouldn’t recommend.

@@baylatron just before you get to Applecross peninsula, Torridon has my favourite views. Wild camping spots everywhere.oh and sack the A9 off at Perth and take the A93 then A939.

Hi thanks for comments. I use a cheap Chinese copy ring (not burner) as it’s nicer to use than the Swedish one. See link. amzn.eu/d/bljHnx4
