i am 61 i started riding when i got a 1969 honda z50. i was 6 and have had some sort of bike ever since. i came across your vids when i was looking at some rebel 500 ones. Sometimes i like to watch and see what draws the younger generations into motorcycles

Biker tip. Add one of those black, metal paper clips that holds about thirty pages to the bike Perhaps on one of the cables. It works great to hold that pieces of paper you need to leave attached to your machine.

That tinted visor. They’re great until the sun goes down. Find yourself some good riding glasses (gasket on em to block wind and bugs), in case you get caught after dark. Light yellow or clear lenses. Then just flip up your tinted visor. Good to go!

It was a beautiful place to hike! I liked seeing the ocean. I would love to live near it. I have a 360 x2, and I like it, but I hate editing the footage twice. Once to choose the view and twice edit the video together. But it's nice not to have to think about which view you want. I also ride, but I ride a cruiser. Ride safe!

I'm currently working on getting my endorsement. Passed all my written tests, took the safety course this past weekend but still need some work on slow speed stuff to get my cert, damn cone weave is my kryptonite.

I love in Saskatchewan Canada where the winters can reach -30F and colder with feet of snow. So for 6-8 months my bike is stored in the garage. So my riding season is very short. I still try to get in 5000km each summer. Love your videos thanks for taking us along with you

started riding about 14 months ago after I got my permit. Took my time, got license in January after having my bike 6 months, and practicing basics, one skill each session on weekends. No real close calls, everyone is friendly to me. Last night I was on a one way, and truck almost turned into my lane when I was at stop light, but because I was on a bike had plenty of space from 'em and was able to wave him off, and point to the one way sign and get him going the right way.

Great 👍 video Rea. I like when you are riding and talking. Wish your videos were longer like 20-25 minutes. You have come a long way in your riding. I’m 68yrs old stopped riding 4yrs ago. Just couldn’t take it anymore more “Is this the day a deer 🦌 jumps out in front of me”. I had no problem driving in traffic I can somewhat control that. But when a deer 🦌 jumps out of nowhere there is nothing you can do. 😎Dave H

I'm a viewer that has a beginning interest in purchasing a bike, (Honda Rebel) Its great to watch you go out on your own and the confidence you've gained along the way. Definitely pushing me in a direction to pull the trigger and start to build my own confidence in the purchase.

I started riding just a couple of months ago. A week after getting my license, I challenged myself on the first day of receiving my bike to go on a relatively long trip, which included highway and traffic. It went well, and since then, I have enjoyed riding daily. Nowadays, it is summer, and temperatures are unbearable, in addition to the humidity. I had to stop for the past few days, and I miss it 😢

I ride all year and I am from Denmark, there is usually a few weeks with heavy snow and ice where I don`t ride, but I can mostly ride 11 month of the year.

Hi Rea. I came across your videos yesterday and I am catching up on your videos. I have been wanting to learn to ride for some years now, but l always found excuses not to do it. I have some health issues so I thought I maybe wouldnt be able to. But now I am starting my first course i 2 weeks. I live in Norway so obtaining the licence maybe a bit different. But I have decided to at least try, than regret not trying. I turned 40 last year and like you I would like a cruiser!

If you need to stop on a hill like that to show ID, you can throw the bike in 1st, turn it off and then it won’t roll backwards

Here in Oregon we are always champing at the bit for riding season to start, not just for warmer/drier weather, but the long days! Sunset at 9 is so much nicer than 4 in December. I ride year round, (if it’s above 40), but only every couple of weeks during the cold/wet season. Every other day now. Haven’t been to Maui since before the fire, but as you know, year-round riding there (so nice). My Maui mc is a XT250 little thumper dual sport. Named it Lazarus (long story). Your new set of knobbies seemed to work well for you on the loose trail👍🏼 That shelter you saw in the woods looked just like a Sasquatch structure. (You Tube- Base Camp Chris)

All the cameras should do the job..I think you need to experiment with frames per second / shutter speed. The stabilisation on the Ace Pro is very good. Buy extra batteries and make sure they are charged before you leave home ! As for no filming rule..what if a lady (or a man) ..but you have evidence of a lady pulling out on you..should bump into you ? And the police take her side because she pays maintenance money..they will ask..Do you have video evidence..Aha ! What about Teslas (other brands are available) with 360 degree built in cameras that you cannot switch off ? Is that not filming , Mrs Security Guard? I dare you to visit next time and have a drone follow you past security ! I ride all year in 5 Centigrade/41 Fahrenheit ..plus chill factor. I liked your shoes..whatever makes you happy and feel good..Your videos always make me happy. Just a few rays of sunshine into my office.. Keep up the good work. You have come a long way since the early days of learning to ride. Look how competent and confident you are on your bike ! Keep it up. 👍
