Nice spot!! What about gallon jugs of frozen water. I used to do that when we camped in our cooler. They last 3 days. Zinger had the zoomies. She is the cutest dog!! Thanks for the video 😊

For the freezer part add salt water to the ice. That’s what fisherman do to keep fish super icy cold on long trips instead of just ice. Great video my friend!

Mountain House chili Mac is the best. For breakfast MH breakfast skillet on tortilla shells or gravy and biscuits are good. I pretty much have found any of the MH meals are good. I usually use just a little less water than recommended.

@@brandonwhite1869 yeah it's Insulated, it has 1.5 inch pink foam insulation in the walls and I think like r15 or r30 in the ceiling

Hey man awesome as always. Like the fishing regardless of how small they are lol. Also I fully u destined about camping in the heat lol I’m from south Louisiana and it’s hot and 100% humidity and rains every day lol. Can’t wait till fall and winter. Without a generator try a 1000-watt Jackery and a 16-18-inch pedestal fan with remote. If you leave a door or window or both open that should get you through the night. Best you can get with no AC!

I've found that dumping the Mountain House meals into a pot then adding the suggested amount of water plus a few extra ounces and bringing to a boil works out a little better. Once it reaches boiling point, stir thoroughly and cover for 10 minutes with a gentle stir at the 5 minute mark. The contents seems to rehydrate much better and the meat isn't quite as "rubbery". Give it a try.

Oh I do as well, I do a little of both in different videos, cooked is always better, sometimes, with my other job, I'm rushing to get stuff ready for camp and these meals are just quick.

try peak refuel. You can oeder them online they are way better than mountain house meals
