You should buy a bulk pack of those antifungal strips that you attach to the roof & leave them in the truck. Then when you're up there and see the issue you can upsell them to install a strip for an extra fee while you are already there. It's a win-win!

Funny that you should say that: the fellah who owns the house was trying to get me to do the gutter job while I was up there, but I didn't have quite the right angle to easily descend onto the roof from the tree. But I've done chimney repair in the middle of a tree job, so it's a possibility! haha

I was so very close to confugglement, yet the confugulation of this situation had too few fuggles for me not to be able to juggle. Juggling those fateful fuggles, was a hearty experience at that. As a matter of fact, I may start learning Fugglelonian, seriously. Then if I ever meet someone from Fugglelonatious, we can both befuggle one the other, with very little struggle. Thanks for the content. Keep up the good work. בס״ד

I use Magnesium Ascorbate for muscle spasms & cramps. Water soluble and Amazon has the Now brand powder pretty inexpensively. Gets in your bloodstream fast that way. BTW thanks for the helpful offer in the past. My walgreens is re-opening tomorrow! Much earlier than the April we were all told.

Magnesium Ascorbate ... I've never heard of it but man those forearm cramps hit me again today up in a tree. I'll check it out. I've always thought simple "drink more water" but there is clearly more to it. Good to hear about the store opening back up. Crazy times! Take care and thanks for the tip

Many of us older guys need magnesium, it helps
@johnpossum556
@johnpossum556 3 жыл бұрын
@@metaspencer There are several kinds of magnesium available. Apparently the commonly available oxide stuff isn't very bioavailable. The Ascorbate stuff is also a form of Vit C so it fills two boxes in the regular need catagories. It's a very common mineral to be deficient in and apparently if you don't have it in your system when your blood needs it then is comes out of the bones themselves. I am no dr or nutritionist, just some one who has tried a lot of different things.

Hey Spence, have you found anything food or drink wise that gives you a boost when you’re exhausted? What’s your go to? Mine is pickle juice (in the summer) and protein bars 😅

Pickle juice! You're a wild man! Personally I'm all about the ice water out there on the job, and lots of it. Even better in my opinion is quitting early on those hot days and hitting the lake :)

Man them bolts would suck to get hit with 😂. One time I got little careless not realy caring where the bag came down after futile attempts. And finally hit target without it getting stuck was old thick weaver line no slippery stuff left on it.but it came down that time and right on top of my hand 🖐. Them things hurt man..I try wear my helmet eveysince ..and course the dreaded powerlinez 😂. I do like the thick yellow weaver because I've pulled some big hsngers out with it.stuf is crazy strong 💪. Had to hook zero turn up to break it one time love the videos ..your best solo guy no doughbt .I'm solo mostly to .

Wow rope wire.... That wouldn't fly where I'm from 😳😳😳...
@metaspencer
@metaspencer 3 жыл бұрын
I asked about the rope railing, and it was just plain old rope and only knee high, and he said they like it that way because the railing would block the view. Things are kind of crazy around here: inspectors are often never seen nor heard of! Only when selling a house do such things come up as an issue. Anyway, it was a wild deck and deadly if you fell. As for the RR pro I'm totally loving it. Once I got it dialed in on my rope it's been really great. I still like to descend on the figure 8 sometimes, just like old times. :)

@@metaspencer He has a (portly) climber and does some subcontracting and bucket work from what I have seen so maybe he doesn't get the fact that even when you HAVE help they no show quite often so you have to be ready to still make a day's pay. I have even thrown a bicycle on my truck...got to the job and rode it back to the lot to get another truck...repeat...work solo. Everyone has done it.
