Part of some solo rigging. Takes a bit longer than having a ground guy but it works. Metaspencer uses this, thats where i got the idea from.

Hey. It’s not often I rig on my own but when I do i just run the rigging line through a crotch, then you can skip all the biners and slings. Thanks for a nice clip. Love the name of the channel. 😂😂

Nice job. The joys of working alone 😆. Why not use a zip line setup. Looks like plenty of places to go with it in front or put back depending on whether you're hauling the debris away or not.
@megadosevitaminc8774
@megadosevitaminc8774 2 жыл бұрын
I have done it before and the bigger ones always seem to stop early then the line is too low. At least this way i can get my line back. Its always a pain by myself. Brush went out to my truck. Deck, hot tub, and shed in the way. Looks like tons of drop room from the video but its close to the deck. Thanks for watching...

@@megadosevitaminc8774 I know what you mean about how it appears, never take a job based on pictures 😂. You can do a vertical zip line too, then you won't have to worry about them making it to the bottom/the line angle. It keeps the but end from flipping into whatever targets you have.
@megadosevitaminc8774
@megadosevitaminc8774 2 жыл бұрын
@@brettblack7049 .. might try that next time. I was working both sides but that may have been the trick... from the ground I thought I could just drop them. But once i was up didnt wanna chance it. I always forgot about the vertical zip line...

Do you guys find getting the solo zipline super tight works best? I do like the idea of a control line + zip. But that’s a bit time consuming probably unnecessary

Thanks. They r just some really cheap ones at the home depot. They are like 1 or 2 bucks each. Not rated for tree work but for small stuff they are fine. I just got some better ones off amazon. I will make a video of them soon. Heres a link to the cheap ones. Probably not the best idea to be using but gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.
