Solo Trek to the "Ghost Trains" Deep in the Northern Maine Woods

Deep in the northern Maine woods are some old steam locomotives that were used in the early 1900's to haul pulpwood...The forest has regrown and these are only accessible by snowmobile or ATV....This was kinda dangerous as i was all alone and 120 miles from my camp....But i made it safely!

What a great trip! I hope some day I can go and ride a sled into the deep woods of Maine. Especially to see 100 plus year old steam locomotives!

It was a little on the risky side alone, but i am confident enough with my survival skills, along with the gear i brought, so i didn't believe it to be life threatening....I could have never walked out of there, but could have survived until the warden service or family members with snowmobiles found me...I wouldn't recommend it for just anyone.

I always carry survival gear, i wouldn't have been able to walk out of there, but would be fine till the warden service retrieved me....All they would have to do is look for the big clouds of puffy smoke!...lol
