Yeah I have cooked with stainless steel at camps and at home. I can surely testify that it is not nonstick lol. I use olive oil and sometimes butter, and you still usually have stick some. Brillo pads will be ur bestfriend with stainless for cleaning. Dont know if that was star link or not, but I would have been kinda freaked out at first sight lol.
