Join me in my first Winter Solo Hammock Camping in the forest by the lake. I'm testing my home-made Underquilt for its limits as well as my Summer Uderquilt.
It was amazing experience, I really enjoyed it..!!
Temperature dropped down to -9.76°C with average temperature of -7.43°C and humidity of 90.86%
I didn't expect it to drop so low, but everything went fine..!!
I'm in love with Winter Hammocking now..!!! :)
Gear tested in this episode- Snugpak 3x3 All Weather Shelter G2, Snugpak Sleeper Expedition sleeping bag with comfort rating of -12°C, basic base layer and thermal socks, Flextailgear Tiny Pump X, Petzl Tactikka + Hybrid Head Torch, Eno Helios XL straps 413 cm, Onewind 11ft Zippered Hammock, Onewind Zippered Windsock, DIY Underquilt, DIY Summer underquilt and 2x Esbit 1 liter thermoses.
