The dark blade was scary with three people. With 1 person on a nightfall? A nightmare

Man, watching this old strikes bring me one though. Sound design of guns and abilities in D1 WAAAY BETTER than D2. Every time rocket shoots, fire nade working, etc, all this brings my eardrums a lot of joy

I’ve been loving returning to D1 ever since I watched your first few videos reveling in the game whilst dismissing that it’s because of nostalgia and I gotta say, I agree. Instead of nostalgia, it’s rather just great having a cool game to fall back on if I ever feel like chilling and meeting other people despite already having everything and being max light. None of that matters after a while invested because you also develop a liking for Destiny 1’s social environment in tandem. …For Nightfalls, everyone *actually* messages each other with offers to join for those regardless of being strangers to one another. That’s just something you never witness in D2 unless you go outside of the game for LFG. But even that is a murky area. In D1 however, every Tuesday morning reset has the Tower poppin’ with Guardians both messaging each other, dancing, and new friendships are formed through a shared feeling of just having a chill atmosphere full of jokes and general enjoyment for the game as you chant for god rolls and beastly weapons. Destiny 1 is just *still* so phenomenal in regards to both community and gameplay after all these years and in tandem with your affinity for D1 with your videos, it’s helping keep this game vitalized, sir. Thank you for helping bring more longevity in Destiny 1. It’s bringing back both old players and attention from newcomers. Respect. ✊

Used to use Khepri sting gauntlets for the invis and melee poison. Melee him before he disappears and then its still ticking when he comes back so you can see where he is right away. Also its insane how much more immersive it is when you dont have champs. I wish this would get updated and released on steam

The hardest part of this strike wasn't the boss imo. It was the curse of "no mantle in D1" 😂. I kept missing the ledges by an inch and dying. It crushed my soul every time.

Honestly no strikes in d2 have the same type of feeling and just atmosphere that this strike had. One of the absolute best strikes of all time.

I miss strikes that weren’t a recycled story mission and when the strike playlist was just strikes.

I love this strike and I totally agree about that bridge room. The darkness was a great example of just using a similar mechanic from the raid in a good way. It astounds me that BUNGIE made two lesser versions of this strike in the same year with both the Lightblade and Mars battlegrounds. It kinda feels like Bungie was deliberately making fun of this strike in the Lightblade, Sunless cell took the good part about the pit encounter from Crota, Lightblade took the bad part of it and added skreebs for good measure.

Dude The Sunless Cell is such a great strike. It’s a perfect example of what strikes should be like in Destiny in my opinion. Easily top 5 best strikes ever.

So many people used self res in D1 Trials that everyone forgot how much Stormcaller absolutely ate. Nobody expected it, easy teamwipe every time.

Just visit at D1 and how those guns feels different, like very realistic. In D2 guns feel like on other games, you dont "feel" it.

Is it me or does this game have a better overall vibe compared to d2? I can’t quite put my finger on what exactly that is but I wish we had this vibe/feeling paired with the better gameplay of d2.

I am a og d2 player and I have never played d1, the game seems better is certain ways. I hope that when the final shape happens they might remaster d1, but I am doubtful.
